TANCET Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Anna University released the eligibility criteria of TANCET 2019 for all candidates. The TANCET 2019 eligibility criteria mentions the set of criteria which candidates need to fulfil for admissions into the various participating institutes. TANCET eligibility criteria 2019 consist of age, academic and mark requirements. It is advised that all of the candidates should check the eligibility criteria of TANCET 2019 before filling the application form. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria of TANCET ,their applications are rejected by the authorities. Direct admissions will be provided to GATE qualified candidates, however, XE or XL qualified candidates will have to attempt the entrance examination. TANCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of TANCET 2019 will consist of the conditions and requirements that the candidates will have to meet to be eligible for admissions. Various eligibility related to academic, age, domicile and more will be considered while providing admissions to the candidates.
Age - There is no age criteria for TANCET 2019
Academic Requirements - All candidates should have completed their B.Tech/B.E. from a recognized institute in the relevant field. Those candidates who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE will also be termed eligible for TANCET 2019.
Qualifying Marks - To be eligible for admission, the General category candidates will have to secure at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam. However, reserved category candidates need to secure 45% marks.
Domicile - If the required qualifications are met, other state candidates will also be eligible for TANCET 2019.
GATE Qualification - Candidates who qualify GATE will not be required to attempt TANCET 2019. These category candidates will be able to directly go to the counselling session. However, those candidates who qualified GATE 2019 in XE and XL will be required to participate in the entrance examination.
Note: Those candidates who are appearing for the final semester/year of examination during April/May 2019 will be able to participate in TANCET. AMIE candidates are not applicable for this condition.
Who will not be eligible for TANCET 2019?
The following category of candidates will not be able to apply for TANCET 2019:
Those candidates who have not obtained their B.Tech/B.E. degree course will not be eligible for TANCET 2019.
Candidates who have obtained their degree without studying 10th, 12th or 3 years degree programme will not be considered for the admission process.
TANCET 2019 Application Form
The application form of TANCET 2019 was available in online mode from May 8 to 31. Candidates are required to fill and submit the application form to be registered for the entrance examination. All of the personal, academic and contact information have to be submitted by the candidates. Along with the selection of exam centres, the required application fee also has to be paid.

As per your requirement, i would say that as you would love yo do mtech in food technology under anna university, you need to appear for tancet and only if you qualify you would get admission into the colllege.
You must have done btevh so you want to do mtech mow. Than the exam will have the common syllabus of your btech course for admission into mtech.
