There is no specific age limit to appear for TANCET 2020
Candidate must have passed their B.Tech/B.E. from a recognized institute in the relevant field. Those candidates who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE.
Candidates must have secured minimum 50% score in the qualifying exam, reserved category candidates must secure minimum 45%.
Subject to eligibility criteria, other state candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates who have qualified GATE 2020 will not be required to appear for TANCET 2020. GATE qualified candidates are directly eligible for counselling
Note: Candidates who are currently appearing for their final semester in April/May 2020 will also be able to participate in TANCET 2020. AMIE candidates are not applicable for this condition.
Who is not eligible for TANCET 2020?
To clear any kind of confusion related to TANCET eligibility 2020, here are candidates who will not be eligible to appear for TANCET 2020:
Candidates who have not obtained their B.Tech/B.E degree will not be eligible for TANCET 2020.
Any candidate who has obtained their degree without studying 10th, 12th or 3 years degree programme will be deemed ineligible for TANCET 2020.
The application form of TANCET 2020 was released in online mode on January 7. Candidates wishing to appear for the entrance exam were required to fill the TANCET 2020 application form before the last date which was February 4.

TANCET is a tamilnadu common entrance exam which ia conducted by Anna university behalf of the government of tamilanadu for taking admission into the pg courses such as MBA., MCA., M.E/M.Tech or M. Arch etc. The cutoff score will be between 40 to 60 for open category for admision into top universities.
You can choose any course depending upon your choice. If you want to acheive managerial skills then you can do MBA and the placement are also good. If you really want to have business management skills and are really interested then you can join. It also have good scope.

Congrats on scoring well. You have a decent chance for good colleges but top ones like PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore,University ,Anna University - CEG, Chennai may be doubtful because this year the performance was better than last year so cutoff may increase a bit, also usually the cutoffs need will be higher for these colleges . However , you may go for University of Madras, Chepauk, Chennai ,Thiagarajar School of Management, Madurai , Loyola,MCC etc .Also note the college you may get depends on the number of applicants during the counselling process , so you have a good chance for all decent colleges , attend the counselling and decide accordingly .
