Daksh Gupta: I am a student at SRM IST Ghaziabad, pursuing BTech Computer Science and Engineering. My hometown is Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Careers360: What programme or major are you currently enrolled in and what factors did you consider while choosing SRM IST and its programme?
Daksh Gupta: I am currently enrolled in BTech CSE core. I chose SRM IST for its reputable programmes and comprehensive curriculum. Factors like faculty expertise, industry exposure, campus facilities, and also SRM IST Ghaziabad placement influenced my decision.
Careers360: What does the admissions process at SRM IST Ghaziabad look like?
Daksh Gupta: The whole SRM IST Ghaziabad admission process is smooth and easy. The management makes sure that they inform the candidate well and before about all the necessary information that he/she needs to know to get admitted to the college. The admissions process at SRM IST Ghaziabad typically involves applying, appearing for entrance exams (if required), and attending counselling sessions.

Daksh Gupta: Balancing academics, extracurriculars, and social life requires effective time management and proper planning. Initially, when I came to SRM IST Ghaziabad, it was a bit of a difficult task for me, but later on, as we got comfortable with the college environment and regulations, it became handy as well, and we moulded ourselves into that. No, I don’t face any academic challenge until and unless I won’t study.
Careers360: Are you involved in any clubs, sports, or organisations on campus? How do these activities contribute to your overall college experience?
Daksh Gupta: Yes. Currently, I am a member of the Kalamgiri Society of SRM-IST. In addition to being a part of the Tirupati mess of SRM-IST's core mess committee and the chess club at the sports arena, I also serve as my class's representative. Due to SRM IST Ghaziabad's constant influence on my activity level and ability to recognize my potential, these experiences have had a significant impact on my overall college experience.
Careers360: How has SRM IST Ghaziabad helped you grow personally and professionally? How does college help you stay updated on relevant industry trends or academic resources?
Daksh Gupta: I believe that my ability to interact with people has greatly improved, and I can now speak with more confidence. I have also picked up a lot of new skills and presentation techniques that will be very useful in my career. I received assistance from the college in this regard because its official websites provided me with timely updates about events and festivals, and there are countless groups that offer comprehensive information about them.
In addition, we have a platform called "Moodle" that provides all of the lectures and notes, ensuring that students never have to struggle academically or rely on the internet. Additionally, we have the library platform "LMS," which makes it simple for us to obtain e-books.

In my opinion, you should go for KIET.
SRM being a deemed university is entirely different from the colleges which are affiliated to Aktu (Abdul kalam technical university).
KIET is best in all respects whether it is related to Academics or extra curricular activities. The college aims just not only on rot learning but also prepare the students for future challenges .Various clubs like SAE of college have gone to various IIT's and outside country and brought laurels to the college. Faculty is too good here who takes the utmost care of all the students and put their best efforts in bringing the best in child. Coming to placements, KIET has good placement record among all uptu colleges. Mostly companies come there.
So you can take your decision accordingly. I don't suggest to take SRM Modinagar (which is in Delhi-NCR) if you are getting that, instead of that KIET is much better option.
But if you are getting SRM chennai and you have no problem in going there then you must surely opt for that college as it is one of the top private universities and they have a good placement record.

SRM GHAZIABAD is one of the most preferred campuses for SRM. The campus is very well developed in terms of infrastructure. You need to have a rank between 9500 - 10500 for admission into CSE branch.
Usually, more than 50,000 candidates appear for the entrance exam every year. As per past trend and analysis, the good rank in SRMJEEE can be between 5000-7000. Students securing this rank have the chances of securing admission in popular B. Tech specializations like CSE/ ECE.

When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:
Now if you compare this parameters between this two colleges, then in average you will find out that both this colleges have similar kind of infrastructure. But the curriculum in SRM is slightly better than GLA. But the GLA professors are more experienced than that of SRM. The placements in SRM are slightly better than GLA but the GLA have better median salary. Thus if you want to choose between this two then its very hard to conclude. But if you want to learn the subjects more practical oriented and you want a job after BTech (with highest possibilities) then I would recommend you to go for SRM Ghaziabad.

The two university you have mentioned, surely VIT is more preferable. VIT have a very well organized curriculum such that the curriculum provides adequate skills to work in industry as well as to pursue academia. Also the faculties are very well experienced and are active in research. VIT offers a very good rate of placement about 91%. Thus if you want admission in CSE among this two then I would say its better to go for VIT BHOPAL. VIT Bhopal have very good infrastructure which is really good fact for science students.
