Mr. Ravi: B.E. / B.Tech Admission Process at Mahalakshmi Tech Campus
Mahalakshmi Tech Campus (MTC) offers B.E / B.Tech admissions through Management Quota: A similar procedure will be applied for the government quota students who come through single window allotment.
Management Quota Students can apply directly under the Management Quota. Admission is granted based on academic eligibility, followed by a structured internal assessment and document verification.
To ensure a strong foundation and personalised academic development, students who complete the application process, including the payment of a non-refundable application fee of Rs 1000, are required to undergo the following two-step evaluation process:
1. Online Competency Assessment Test
Duration: 45 minutes
Mode: Online (to be taken on a desktop or laptop for optimal experience)
Purpose: To evaluate the applicant’s current competency level in areas such as analytical reasoning, basic technical knowledge, and communication.
2. One-on-One Virtual Interview
Conducted after the online test.
This personal interaction helps understand the candidate’s aspirations, motivation, and academic preparedness.
This comprehensive assessment aims to conduct a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) Analysis of each student. The insights gained are used to:

Mr. Ravi: B.E. / B.Tech admissions at MTC Chrompet are primarily based on academic performance, TNEA counselling ranks, and national entrance exam scores. Students with valid JEE scores are given preference and receive first choice during the admission process under the management quota.
The institution also recognises and supports high-performing students through the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship scheme. In addition, liberal scholarships and financial assistance are extended to meritorious students from financially weaker backgrounds, promoting equal access to quality education.

The Training and Placement Cell, in collaboration with the Maha Future Tech Hub, also assists students in preparing for higher studies in top national and international universities, offering guidance and coaching for GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, and other competitive exams. Students with entrepreneurial aspirations are encouraged to launch startups through incubation support, while those inclined toward public service are mentored and guided to prepare for UPSC and other civil services examinations.
