Channels through Which IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech Admission Are done
JEE Main 2019 Mode- IIIT Hyderabad 2019 B.Tech Admission will be done based on JEE Main 2019 marks for limited seats to the single degree programmes only. These programmes includes, B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
DASA Mode: Through this channel candidates living in abroad will get direct admission based on DASA 2019.
UGEE Mode: Through this mode, admission to all research-based dual-degree programmes will be done. What candidates need to know is that admission in through this mode will be based on an entrance examination followed by an interview.
Special Channel of Admission (SCA) Mode: This mode has been introduced in 2018 only. Through this channel candidates get admission to single degree B. Tech. (ECE/CSE) programs.
Candidates apply for IIIT Hyderabad 2019 B.tech admission will have to appear and qualify an entrance examination and interview. There are upto 20 seats available through SCA.

IIIT Hyderabad 2019 B.Tech Eligibility Criteria & Selection Process for DASA Mode
DASA UG 2019
Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
Must have completed class 12th class or equivalent by May 2018 or earlier with minimum 60% marks (or 6.0 grade on 10 point scale) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
For such candidates, taking AP Calculus course, AP Physics or AP Chemistry course is highly recommended.
Must also satisfy one of the following requirements:
Should have completed 12th or equivalent from outside India by May 2018 or earlier. The candidates should have scored at least 60% marks (or 6.0 grade on 10 point scale) in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Must hold a foreign passport
Should have appeared in SAT and scored a minimum 1070 aggregate score (out of maximum of 1600) in SAT,
Also required to have secured a minimum aggregate score of 2000 (out of maximum of 2400) in SAT Subject Tests in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Both scores are mandatory.
Scores of SAT will be mapped as per the new format using concordance tables available from College Board (USA).
Admission through DASA channel will be through the subject SAT (SAT II) scores. The main SAT scores are used to break ties. Anyone with valid SAT II scores but have not taken SAT, will be considered eligible to apply for admission. For tie-breaking, such candidates SAT score will be treated as missing or equivalent to zero.
Through the SAT and SAT Subject Tests Scores. Both are mandatory.
Before the last date of the application form, the test scores should be reported directly to IIIT Hyderabad by the college board.
The primary ranking criterion will be the total of SAT Subject Tests Scores in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
All candidates will be ranked based on the total marks first. In the case of a tie in total marks, the following marks (in the given order) will be used to resolve the same.

3. Chemistry of SAT II
4. Total score of SAT
5. Critical Reading of SAT
6. Mathematics of SAT
7. A tie after this will be resolved with an interview over Skype.

Should have passed class 12th and must have qualified for (i) NTSE, (OR) (ii) KVPY
Written test and personal interview
Should have passed Class 12th in 2018 and students selected for training in Science and Linguistics to represent India in International Olympiads.
