Alumni Speaks: Campus Interview at Atria Institute of Technology
We know that choosing the right engineering college is a tough decision and students come across various questions while choosing their college. In the same series, our team conducted interviews with the alumni of Atria Institute of Technology to know about the infrastructure, facilities of the institute. Both these alumni of the institute also provided their advice for their juniors.

Interview with Ullas T D, B.E Civil Engineering (2015-2019)
Careers360: Tell us something about yourself, your education, current career, etc?
Ullas: I’m Ullas T D, an alumnus of Atria Institute of Technology from the 2015-2019 B.E. Civil Engineering batch. I have currently applied for Masters of Construction Management course at Deakin University, Australia and I will be leaving to start the course soon.
Careers360: You are an alumni of Atria Institute of Technology When did you complete your course here?
Ullas: I’m an alumni of the Civil Engineering branch of Atria Institute of Technology. I’ve completed my course in July-2019.
Careers360: What were your first impressions when you joined the institute?
Ullas: My first impression about the Institute was very good. I found the institute is well organised and adheres to the decorum and principles of any well-reputed educational Institution. The facilities such as Laboratories, playground and food courts, etc; are adequate and some of them are top-notch and are well maintained by the dedicated staff members.
Careers360: Give us a few insights about your education at the institute; what you found memorable during your study here.
Ullas: Atria Institute of Technology, in my opinion, has provided me with a lot of learning experience besides the prescribed curriculum of the University. It has always thrived to provide the best possible technical experience to the students within its boundaries.
There are many fond memories at the institute, which will always be cherished forever by me and all my fellow batchmates. To name a few, the Technical fests like Dextrix, cultural fests like Saptharang and Industrial visits to hydropower plant in the third year and Survey Camp during 5th semester are the most remembered ones among many others.
Careers360: How did you keep updated with the industrial requirements and what was the role of the institute in it?
Ullas: I used the internet as my mode of getting current updates in the industrial trends and economy factors attached along with it. The Professors used to guide us regarding the career path to choose post-graduation and about the beneficial software that we should learn to brush-up our skills so that we have a better opportunity than others in the field.
Careers360: Do you have anything to say or suggest to the current students about your experience which could be beneficial for their academics and career.
Ullas: I would like to suggest current students to interact with the Professors more often and participate in paper presentations and seminars. It will help them in understanding the research and development trends that are taking place in our Industry. Try and learn additional software courses other than the ones prescribed in the syllabus, as they help you in being the preferred candidate for employment after graduation. Prepare innovative and interesting projects than mediocre ones, so that you can start your entrepreneurship journey based on the project you’ve undertaken.
Interview with Apoorva MR, B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering (2015-19)
Careers360: Tell us something about yourself, your education, current career, etc?
Apoorva MR: I am Apoorva MR and completed my B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering from Atria Institute of Technology. Currently, I am working in SOLCEN TECHNOLOGIES Pvt.ltd as a Software Engineer.
Careers360: You are alumni of Atria Institute of Technology When did you complete your course here?
Apoorva MR: I completed my B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year 2019.
Careers360: What were your first impressions when you joined the institute?
Apoorva MR: I found that the teaching quality was good and I was happy to have knowledgeable and expert teachers.
Careers360: How did you keep updated with the industrial requirements and what was the role of the institute in it?
Apoorva MR: Teachers used to tell us about the current industrial requirements. The college also conducted some workshops related to it.
Interview with Shweta Ranganath, B.E Information Science (2014-18)
Careers360: Tell us something about yourself, your education, current career, etc?
Shweta Ranganath: I am Shweta Ranganath who is passionate about badminton and discipline in life. I was born in Gujarat but brought up in Bangalore. I am working at Gensuite Software Systems & Services Pvt. Ltd. as a Business Analyst from the last two years.
I am planning to pursue a Master of Science in Information Systems at a prestigious university in the United States of America (USA) this year, 2020.
Careers360: You are an alumni of Atria Institute of Technology When did you complete your course here?
Shweta Ranganath: I am an alumnus of Batch 2018. I started my Engineering in Information Science in the year of 2014 and completed it in the year of 2018 with First Class Distinction.
Careers360: What were your first impressions when you joined the institute?
Shweta Ranganath: The first thing that I noticed and impressed me about the institute was its spacious campus with ample trees and greenery. Also, I was impressed by the integrated campus infrastructure for Classrooms, Research Centres, Labs and Workshops, Seminar Halls and Placement area.
Careers360: Give us a few insights about your education at the institute; what you found memorable during your study here.
Shweta Ranganath: I studied in the Information Science Department and had a fantastic time. The professors in this department are highly knowledgeable and they made boring subjects very interactive and interesting. The teaching methodology is very innovative, and we were able to grasp the topics effortlessly. I always had 100% attendance because I felt that college was more fun and wanted to gain knowledge from the highly talented professors. They were so friendly and we felt like they were our second parents.
Careers360: How did you keep updated with the industrial requirements and what was the role of the institute in it?
Shweta Ranganath: From the 5th semester, the institute started the aptitude and life skills sessions which helped us get into the best IT industries. The institute trained us at the best level to bridge the gap between the course and industry. They had provided us with materials which helped us a lot to fulfil the industrial requirements and they were always open for doubt clearing sessions. The institute also conducted a few competitions where students could show their skills at coding, analysing and interpreting the business requirements which indeed helped us in many ways such as cracking interviews, coding rounds, and HR rounds.
Careers360: Do you have anything to say or suggest to the current students about your experience which could be beneficial for their academics and career.
Shweta Ranganath: I would say that you are in the best college and you can do wonders if you have an aim/goal in life. Dream big, Set Goals, work towards it and try to achieve it. Never lose hope, everybody in this world is talented and can do something great. As you are all budding engineers, concentrate on studies first and make sure you understand each and every concept in the course. Do not neglect studies with other choices in life, as the course will help you build your career. Last but not the least, I would like to say that “Create an impression in the world so that the whole wide world remembers you always”.
Interview with Arvind Ramachandra, B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering (2011-15)
Careers360: Tell us something about yourself, your education, current career, etc?
Arvind Ramachandra: My name is Arvind Ramachandra. I graduated from Atria Institute of Technology as an Engineer with Electronics and Communication as specialization in the year 2015. I am currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Mindtree Limited.
Careers360: You are alumni of Atria Institute of Technology When did you complete your course here?
Arvind Ramachandra: I completed my B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering course in 2015.
Careers360: What were your first impressions when you joined the institute?
Arvind Ramachandra: My first impression was that I am going to have an amazing time in this institute. I thought I am going to have a successful career after studying here.
Careers360: Give us a few insights about your education at the institute; what you found memorable during your study here.
Arvind Ramachandra: My learning graph was growing exponentially with each semester. There were several interesting concepts that kept me on the front rows in the classrooms. Endless applications of many subjects and satisfactory feelings when the professors revealed the truth behind the technology we use daily are unforgettable.
Also, the “AAVISHKAAR” event conducted by the EC department is a memorable part of my time in Atria.
Careers360: How did you keep updated with the industrial requirements and what was the role of the institute in it?
Arvind Ramachandra: The regular workshops and technical fests conducted by the institute and department were our main connect to the real world and the latest industrial technologies.
Careers360: Do you have anything to say or suggest to the current students about your experience which could be beneficial for their academics and career.
Arvind Ramachandra: My suggestion to the current students is to START EARLY. If you have chosen Engineering as your career and have entered the institute then the game has begun. Start learning from day one and most importantly start applying what you learn on the same day. This will create a chain of ideas and innovative thoughts. If you follow this thoroughly, you will definitely succeed.
Interview with Mohammed Qaisar Junaid, B.E Civil Engineering (2015-2019)
Careers360 : Tell us something about yourself, your education, current career etc?
Qaisar Junaid: My name is Mohammed Qaisar Junaid. I've completed my B.E in Civil Engineering from Atria Institute of Technology and I'm currently working as a design engineer at Bremer India Engineering Pvt. Ltd.
Careers360: You are an alumni of Atria Institute of Technology When did you complete your course here?
Qaisar Junaid: I'm an alumni of Atria institute of technology. My B.E Civil Engineering course was completed in June 2019.
Careers360: What were your first impressions when you joined the institute?
Qaisar Junaid: I was excited in the beginning. The infrastructure of the institute seemed nice. All facilities such as labs, projectors in classrooms etc. were in good condition.
Careers360: Give us a few insights about your education at the institute; what you found memorable during your study here.
Qaisar Junaid: The lecturers and professors were really polite and always helped us if we were not able to understand a particular topic, even outside the classroom. My most memorable moments were those spent with my friends and my project guide.
Careers360: How did you keep updated with the industrial requirements and what was the role of the institute in it?
Qaisar Junaid: The management arranged presentations from industry experts frequently, to keep us updated.
Careers360: Do you have anything to say or suggest to the current students about your experience which could be beneficial for their academics and career.
Qaisar Junaid: I'd like to suggest my juniors to keep themselves updated about the newer technologies, building materials and processes used in the industry and relate them to the topics covered in the curriculum.

which is good college CMR University (not cmrit) atria institute of technology for btech same course
Hello there,
CMR University is a private university located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This college provides many UG and PG courses. For B.Tech courses the fees range is from 7.8 lakhs to 9.2 lakhs. This university was started in 2016. So there is no past placement record for B.Tech batches. But seeing the other courses placements, it is estimated to provide good placements.
Atria Institute of Technology ( AIT ) was established in 2000 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Here the placements for B.Tech courses are quite good. The average salary package is around 3 LPA, whereas the highest package is around 7-8 LPA.
From these two, AIT is better.
