Dear aspirant !
Hope you are doing well !!
Lateral Entry Programme is being offered at universities and engineering colleges enabling students who have completed 3-year diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. degree or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks, and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class XII, to get admitted in the second year directly.
Hope it helps you !
Yes, it's possible to apply for direct admission to the second year of BE in Instrumentation and Control Engineering after completing a diploma in food technology. However, admission policies vary by college to college as different colleges have different policies. If you have any specific college in mind please share.
Hope this helps you,
Thank you

No, a diploma in Mechanical Engineering won't directly qualify you for entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) program in Instrumentation Engineering
Mechanical Engineering and Instrumentation Engineering are distinct disciplines with varying course content. While there might be some overlap in basic engineering principles, the focus areas and specializations differ significantly.
Universities usually have limited flexibility for credit transfer between programs, especially for substantial portions like a full year of a different engineering degree.
I hope it helps!
Hello,
Andhra University College of Engineering, has set up several student services and welfare centres.
Lastly instrumentation engineer typically work for industries with automated process with the goal of improving the productivity, reliability, safety, optimisation and stability.

Hello Aspirant,
Yes of course, Instrumentation and Control Engineering is in great demand now and undoubtedly it is going to increase in future. As the world is going towards automation in which robots will be take main role in our life. At present we are suffering through the revolution period in which robots are going g to take place of humans in different works. As of now so many companies are emphasizing on automated works, there is a huge demand to reduce the work labour on humans. All this can be made possible only due to practical knowledge of Robotics.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hello Rohit,
The INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL ENGINEERING is one of the most interesting branch of engineering. You gain lots and lots of new concepts from this course but the problem with INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING comes is placement as not too many people get placed in this branch. So the pattern is similar in Haldia college also. The placement is below average in HALDIA for INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING. So try to join some core engineering branch in HALDIA as the college is famous for its core branches.
I hope you will find my answer helpful.
All the best.
Hello there,
Haldia Institute of Technology ( HIT ) is an engineering institute in west Bengal India, approved by All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), new delhi and affiliated to Maulana abdul kalam azad university of technology (MAKAUT). Haldia Institute of technology ranked "174" among engineering colleges in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2019.
The placement is average. There are not many core placements from ICE. If you are interested in IT placements then that can happen. The best is to prepare yourself for a good GATE score and then get into any PSU. HIT's Instrumentation Engineering Dept offers you good opportunities for PSUs.
The teaching standard is above average and you can always do well by putting those extra hours from your side.
Hope this helps.
Well,it is good for doing Mtech in Instrumentation Engineering.
