Hello,

To prepare for GATE Aerospace Engineering, follow the below guidelines :

1. Know the syllabus first.

2. Give more focus to subjects that have more weightage. But don't ignore the other ones.

3. Having conceptual clarity is very important, so focus on learning the concepts neatly and thoroughly.

3. Prepare a study time table and work accordingly.

4. Solve previous year question papers for practice and give mock tests.

5. Give tests after completing each topic. And improve your mistakes.

Stay disciplined and motivated.

All the best.

Hello,

Typically the cutoff for aerospace engineering is determined by the entrance exam (like JEE Advanced or GATE) and institution and category-like factors. For example, in the JEE Advanced, you need to rank in ranges of 1400 to 2800 for admission to top IITs in the general category.

I hope it will clear your category!!

Hello

Aerospace Engineering is offered at top IITs like Bombay, Kanpur, Madras, and Kharagpur. The minimum (best) cut-off ranks are around 1,100–1,300 in General category for top IITs like IIT Bombay.

The maximum (last) cut-off ranks go up to 6,000–7,000 in lower-ranked IITs or for reserved categories. Female-only and EWS categories may see closing ranks near 5,500–7,000.

These cut-offs vary each year depending on difficulty level and seat availability. A safer rank for the General category is under 2,500 to secure Aerospace in a top IIT.

HELLO,

Yes you can pursue a M.Tech in aerospace engineering after completing a B.Tech or B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering

You will likely need to appear for the GATE exam and meet the specific eligibility criteria of the institute where you want to apply, most institutes require a minimum of 50 percent in your undergraduate B.E./B.Tech degree along with a satisfactory performance in the GATE exam

Hope this Helps!

Hello,

If you want to pursue an aerospace dual degree program in IITs, generally you need to get ranks in the range of 5000 to 10,000. But, if you want to go to older IITs, you need a rank in the range of 2,300 to 4,500. Also, you should check the official JoSAA website to check the specific cutoff.

I hope it will clear your query!!

Hello aspirant,
