IIT Patna Placements
Indian Institute of Technology Patna has a placement cell that handles entire placements taking place at the campus. IIT Patna placement cell acts as the bridge between the student and the organisation. The IIT Patna average salary package offered for B.Tech students in 2023 is Rs 28.59 lakhs and it has been a phenomenal jump of 68.47 % from 17.13 lakhs in 2021. Similarly, the IIT Patna M.Tech average salary also reached 14.99 lakhs in 2022 from 12.22 lakhs in 2021.
According to the NIRF Data 2023 provided, out of 446 students in a batch 298 students are placed in the top reputed organisations in the IIT Patna placement drive. IIT Patna placement median salary package for UG 4-year is found to be Rs. 20,00,00. Whereas, the median salary package for the PG 2-year students stood at Rs. 12,00,000. The IIT Patna placements are offered by various top recruiters with a decent package.
IIT Patna Placement Procedure
1. The Placement office or Placement cell of the IIT Patna contacts companies and extends invitations with pertinent information.
2. After sending the completed Job Announcement Forms (JAF) through email or fax, companies receive a unique login ID for the website. Since the JAFs are made available online, it is easier for interested students to sign up for the Company.
3. The Placement Cell and the Company confer and finalise the date for pre-placement talks if necessary. Each student who has registered for a particular company submits a resume so that the company can shortlist the students accordingly.
4. A detailed schedule is prepared by the IIT Patna Placement Cell evaluating the job offer, prospects, and student intake that is confirmed with all the companies.
5. The companies/organisations visit the IIT Patna campus, meet the registered (or shortlisted) students, and conduct the interviews, tests or group discussion sessions in accordance with their respective recruitment process.
6. The timetable that was previously negotiated and mutually agreed upon should be followed on the date of the interview and all other sessions.
7. The list of students chosen during the interview process must be prepared and submitted by the companies with a written confirmation letter on the actual interview day.
8. The IIT Patna placement cell must receive the employment offers in a timely manner. A student who receives a job offer is not permitted to take any additional exams or interviews with any other companies

In India, it was ranked 10 among engineering colleges by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2020. In terms of infra, IIT BHU is still ahead of IIT Indore. The machines, etc are old in the old departments such as mechanical, etc. However, departments like CSE and Mathematics have brand new buildings, computers, etc. In mechanical and civil engineering branches, core placements chances are very low, but there are high chances for non-core placements. However, CS and electrical students have good placements, and metallurgy and material science students also have good chances to get placed better. The institute has successfully placed 94.5% of BTech and 57.4% of MTech students during the IIT Indore placement 2022.
I have performed bad in Mathematics Board Exam but my overall percentage is around 80%, will I still be able to get into an IIT? P.S. The reason I perform this bad is due to Covid Virus so please be generous.

To be honest, 80 is an amazing score but it does not guarantee your seat into IITs. For getting into an IIT, you need to score good in JEE mains and advance. Admissions into IITs is only based on that. All the best !
Which IIT is best for CSE?? IIT GUWAHATI, IIT HYDERABAD OR IIT PATNA. Note:- I don't care about package. I am looking for facilities provided by college, infrastructure alumni network etc.

Undoubtedly IIT Guwahati is a better among the three IITs because it is considered to be among the top 7-8 IITs. So, the cut off for cse branch IIT Guwahati is also under 600-700 so you need to score really good to get the cse branch over there.
The infrastructure and view of IIT Guwahati is just amazing you will enjoy the campus life. I can be rest assured of that.
But the other IITs are not so good with computer science branch and are not considered to be among the top ones. IIT Patna is comparatively a newer IIT.
