BITSAT 2017 Student Reactions: BITSAT 2017 online test has commenced. The first slot from 9 AM to 12 Noon has concluded for Day 1 while the second slot will start from 2 PM to 5 PM. The online test of BITSAT 2017 will continue till May 30 in different slots for different candidates. The test which will consist of objective questions from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, English, Logical Reasoning and Mathematics. Instructions to the Candidates of BITSAT 2017
The instructions to the candidates regarding the online test were available at the centre for everybody’s reference. The following instructions were given:
You are going to take a computer based online test at a workstation.
You are required to be present in the Test Centre 60 minutes before the starting time of the Test as specified in the admit card.
No candidate will be allowed to enter the Examination Hall 15 minutes after the starting of the Examination.
Do not carry any of your belongings inside the exam centre including mobile phone, cellular phone, pagers, palm tops, Bluetooth devices or any electronic device which has the potential of misuse in cheating or unauthorized communication during the test.
You are allowed to carry only Admit Card and pen/ pencil/ eraser inside the test centre.
No break is allowed during test.
Pre – Examination Student Reactions
Crowded and anxious, the candidates of BITSAT 2017 had various reactions to the online test that they are about to attempt. While many candidates seemed nervous, Vivek, who spoke to Careers360, is one of those candidates who is not much worried about the test. Having secured AIR 1500 (JEE Main Score of 245) in JEE Main 2017, he is confident of doing well in BITSAT 2017 and will also be attempting JEE Advanced.
Similarly, Atul whose AIR in JEE Main 2017 is 40000 is also confident about the test. Atul took coaching from FIITJEE for 6 months.
Post – Examination Student Reactions
Punnet, who attempted the test for the second time explains that there was no difference in the test pattern and was easy. Physics was toughest while Chemistry was of moderate difficulty. English was the easiest. According to Punnet, more weightage was given to 12th standard syllabus. Left thumb impression along with the photograph was taken inside the test centre.
Shebaz attempted BITSAT for the first time and found it easy. The questions of Physics came more from the 11th standard, Maths from 12th standard and for Chemistry it was divided equally from both 11th and 12th standard.
Vrinda Agarwal also appeared for BITSAT for the first time and scored 2018. For her, it was a moderate test. She did not pay attention whether the test was focussed on 11th or 12th standard syllabus.
For Pushpendra, the test was too easy according to him. Another candidate, Amit has scored 170, while Neha, who found the Physics section toughest scored 259. According to Vishesh, Chemistry was the toughest section.
According to Prateek, the difficulty level of the test depended upon the preparation method of the candidates. Those who had studied from NCERT books would have found the paper tough while those who had attended coaching would have found the paper easy.

I am really sorry to inform you that you are not eligible to appear in BITSAT as student who have qualified there class 12th in year 2018 or earlier are not eligible to give BITSAT 2020. I hope the information provided to you is helpful to you.

I would like to inform you that the eligibility criteria for BITSAT is that candidates applying for test must have passed 12th or any other equivalent examinations. And Students applying for BITSAT 2020 must have passed class 12 not earlier than 2019 which means they must have passed class 12 in 2019 or appearing in 2020. Students applying for admission in any integrated first degree course other than B.Pharm must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12. Students applying for B.Pharm must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology in class 12. Students are also required to possess adequate proficiency in English. Students must have obtained an aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology in class 12 along with 60% each in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics. These all are the parameters of BITSAT. So keep studying and keep growing.
