I want to move on with B-TECH after 12th and want to take admition in government collage but not with iit .I want to take admition by intrance exam of college. so can you suggest me good collages in UP who take admition with intrance exam.Is BHU conduct its own intrance exam except iit for B-TECH.

Ashish pal Student Expert 16th Nov, 2019

Hello dear aspirant.

If you are interested in government colleges for your B-tech then you have to appear in any of the two exams either IIT JEE mains or State level entrance exam. Almost all government college fall under this procedure . Only private colleges conduct separate exam for themselves.

Hope you get it.

Good luck

I was alloted NIT in 6th round and IIT in 7th round in 2019 , But I did not report in any IIT. I didnot received the deposit payment rs 35000/- in josaa . Am I eligible for IIT 2020 ? (App. no. 190310519756)

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 21st Sep, 2019

Hello,

You will be eligible for JEE 2020 if your number of attempts have not crossed above 3.  If this year you gave JEE for 3rd time then you can give JEE exam next year.

NTA has given the limit to the number of attempts but there is no age limit. So prepare accordingly.

If you got IIT or NIT in the end rounds then you should have taken admission. This mistake will again cause you a one year loss.  if possible contact to the IIT or NIT admission authority if there is any possibilities to take an admission.

You may not receive the payment as you have opted for IIT and NIT in 7th and 6th counselling rounds respectively. You get refund only when you are not allotted with any college by the end of counselling process.

For more confirmation you can put a mail to Jossa and ask regarding the same.

Hope it helps!

which is better among iit indore / iit mandi / iit ropar

Gehna Chawla 16th Sep, 2019

Hello

According to me between these 3 institutes, i can rate them as :

1. IIT Indore

2. IIT Mandi

3. IIT ropar

Because, IIT Indore has the lowest fees among these and has the lowest cut off as well.

Indore has the highest package record among these three till now which is 28 lakhs.

the teaching can differ according to the courses you choose.

Thankyou, i hope it helps, feel free to approach for further queries.
