In iiser aptitude test during correction window i removed my ews declaration and uploaded old ews certificate(of 2024-2025) instead of new(of 2025-2026) so will my ews be accepted as in that it was written to upload new ews and so can i change it when result are declared and before counselling process that is before 16 june?

Prachi Kumari 9th May, 2025

Hello,

If you have uploaded the old EWS certificate (2024–2025) instead of the new one (2025–2026), there is a chance that it may not be accepted, as the IISER notification clearly asks for the valid and updated EWS certificate for the year 2025–2026.

Right now, if the correction window is closed, you won’t be able to change it. But don’t worry too much. Once the results are out and before the counselling starts (before 16 June), there is usually a document verification process. You may get a chance to upload the correct and updated certificate during that time.

Just make sure you get the 2025–2026 EWS certificate ready as soon as possible, so if they allow updates before counselling, you can upload the correct one.

Hope it helps !

Applicants must take either the JEE Main or JEE Advanced exam in order to be considered for admission to the best engineering institutes in India. JEE Advanced and Main are administered by separate bodies. Because the JEE Advanced exam is more difficult than the JEE Main exam, candidates who are prepared for it have an advantage.

Hello student,

With an OBC category rank of 2345 in JEE Main, you have a good chance of getting into several top NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs (Government-Funded Technical Institutes). The exact college and branch you can get will depend on various factors such as the cutoffs for that year, your home state, and the specific branch you are interested in.
