Q. What is the date of issue of Domicile Certificate for WBJEE 2018?
Ans. The domicile certificate certifies that the candidate is residing in West Bengal continuously for last 10 years as on December 31, 2017. Hence, the date of issuing the certificate must be later than or after December 31, 2017.
Q. When should the Income Certificate be issued?
Ans. The income certificate certifies family income for the financial year 2017-18. Thus, the certificate must be issued later than or after March 31, 2018.
Q. In case of a PwD category candidate, what percentage of disability will be considered?
Ans. PwD percentage between 40% to 70% will be considered.
Q. After re-uploading photograph and signature, what is “Admin approval required”?
Ans. In case the uploaded photograph or signature is not as per the specified requirement, then a message/SMS will be sent to candidate’s registered mobile number. In such a case, the candidates have to re-upload corrected photo/signature. These re-uploaded images will take 3 days to be approved by Board. During these 3 days of approval, if a candidate logs in, he/she will get an alert message as “Admin approval required”.
Q. What will happen if I do not re-upload correct photograph or signature?
Ans. If you do not re-upload corrected photo or signature, you admit card for WBJEE 2018 will not be issued.
Q. Is there any date limit for taking the photograph?
Ans. No, there is no date limit related to taking the photograph, but it must be a recent one so that it matches with your current physical features.
Q. What should I do in case I forget to download or lose the Confirmation Page?
Ans. In such a case, you can get a duplicate copy of the Confirmation Page, however only till July 31, 2018. To get a duplicate confirmation page, you need to apply to the Board and pay Rs. 500 as processing fee via a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable in Kolkata.
Q. Is the application fee of WBJEE 2018 refundable in case I do not take the test?
Ans. No, WBJEE 2018 Application Fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
Q. What should I do in case the Confirmation Page is not generated even if the fee is deducted from my account?
Ans. In case the confirmation page is not generated, there can be two reasons. 1. There is a payment failure/break. If that happens, you should try again. 2. Candidate makes cash payment at bank, but it is not completed due to link failure. In such case, the candidate should talk to the bank.
Q. If I have entered some incorrect information/data in the application form of WBJEE 2018, how do I correct it?
Ans. You can correct the entered details of the application form of WBJEE 2018. WBJEEB will open a “Correction Facility” from January 26 to 28, 2018. However, you cannot correct all the data. You can not make changes to your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth and Gender.

Ans. The correction window is a facility wherein candidates can make changes and correction (except a few) in their uploaded application forms of WBJEE 2018.

Ans. You can enter your school PIN Code from January 26 to 28, 2018, when the application correction window is available.
Q. I did not get my WBJEE 2018 application number on my mobile number. What should I do?
Ans. There may be a few reasons. You need to ensure that the mobile number your are using is functional and valid. While filling the application form, you should have the mobile with you. Sometimes, the network connection creates such problems. Sooner or later the SMS comes.
Q. What should I do in case I forget my password created during WBJEE application process?
Ans. If you have forgotten your password, use the “Forgot Password” link to retain or create new password. There is no other method available.
Q. I want to know about the minimum and maximum age requirement for WBJEE 2018?
Ans. You need to be 17 years (lower age limit) as on December 31, 2018. There is no upper age limit for WBJEE 2018. However, for Marine Engineering programme, upper age limit is 25 years as on December 31, 2018.
Q. Can I change my choice of examination zone?
Ans. No. Once you have chosen and the application is submitted, you can not change your exam zone.
Q. What all should I carry to the examination hall on the day of the exam?
Ans. You must carry a hard copy of admit card of WBJEE 2018, a copy of colour photograph which was uploaded in the online application form and one/any original photo identity proof such as Aadhar card/Passport/ Pan card/voter card/10th standard admit card/School ID card.
