Karnataka PGCET Application Details

  • Candidates must first register by entering personal details including name, parents’ names, date of birth, email ID, mobile, etc. They also have to enter their chosen user ID and password.

  • After registration, the application number is generated and candidates must log in using their chosen user ID and password.

  • After logging in, candidates need to enter their personal & academic details and address. GATE qualified candidates have to enter their GATE details.

  • Candidates need to upload their scanned photograph, signature and left thumb impression.

  • They must download the e-challan and pay the fees.

  • After payment, candidates must enter the details and print their application form.

  • They must affix a photograph (similar to the scanned one), put their signature and left thumb impression as specified, and keep it safe to be furnished during counselling.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be from Karnataka and meet the specified domicile requirements.

  • Applicants must have passed B.Tech/B.E or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates).

  • It is mandatory that all applicants must have studied in Karnataka for a minimum of seven years from class I to the qualifying exam.

  • Candidates with valid GATE scores need not appear for Karnataka PGCET. They are given preference over the others during seat allotment.
