You cannot apply for the second round of HP PAT counselling now as the dates for  submission of new application or revision of choices based on vacant seats was from August 29 to September 2, 2021. Yesterday was the last date for the submissions. The authorities will not conduct the HP PAT 2021 examination. The admission to diploma courses will be done on the basis of merit of marks secured in the minimum educational qualification prescribed by AICTE for the session 2021-22.  You can attend the 3rd round of counselling from September 12 to 15, 2021.

Yes of course you can fill out the application form for Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test because as per the eligibility criteria for HP PAT 2021 :-

The applicant should have passed Class 10th with minimum of 35% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. If you are appearing for the qualifying exam in 2021 then also you can apply, but your eligibility will be checked at the time of counselling.

But there is a condition if you are of any reserved category then you will not get the reservation benefit because through HP PAT only the bonafide state residents will get reservation benefits, so you can apply under Unreserved category.

Complete application process which you should follow to apply for HP PAT 2021 is described below :-

• Go to the application portal available on http://www.hptechboard.com/
• Select Polytechnic PAT 2021 under the Academic Programme.
• Using your valid email id and mobile number, along with some other details register yourselves.
• Now you have to fill the application form using your personal details including name, religion, nationality, and date of birth. You will also have to enter your contact details.
• Now upload the photograph and signature in the prescribed specification as shown in the table below :-

• Now make the payment of application fee.

• Finally, submit the application form.
