Jee main me 47 % mila hai and 12th me 69.83 b tech ke liye addmision mil sakta hai

Mayumi DAS 7th May, 2025

Jee Main me 47% score aur 12th board me 69.83% ke basis par aapko B.Tech me admission mil sakta hai, lekin kis type ke college me milega, yeh kuch factors par depend karta hai:

1. College Type

  • Government NITs/IIITs/CFTIs : Inme admission ke liye JEE Main rank kaafi high hona chahiye hota hai. Aapka score low hone ke karan yeh colleges mushkil ho sakte hain.

  • State Government Colleges : Kuch state-level counselling (jaise MP, UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, etc.) me low JEE score par bhi admission mil jata hai, especially agar aapka category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) ka reservation hai.

  • Private Engineering Colleges : Bahut se private colleges JEE ke alawa direct admission dete hain (ya low rank par bhi le lete hain), jaise:

    • Galgotias, Noida

    • LPU (Lovely Professional University)

    • SRM University

    • Sharda University

    • Amity University

    • Parul University, Vadodara

2. Category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS)

Agar aap kisi reserved category se belong karte hain to aapko benefit mil sakta hai. SC/ST ke liye JEE rank ka cutoff kaafi low hota hai.

3. State Quota

Agar aap apne home state ka domicile rakhte hain to aapko waha ke government/state engineering colleges me state quota ka benefit mil sakta hai.

Kya Kar Sakte Hain:

  • State Counselling ke liye apply karein (UPTAC, HSTES, MP DTE, etc.)

  • Private College me Direct Admission ka option explore karein

  • Diploma to B.Tech (Lateral Entry) bhi ek option hai agar aap pehle diploma karte hain.

    1. MMMUT (Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology) , KNIT Sultanpur , HBTU Kanpur , and others may have seats for your rank, especially in branches other than CSE.

4. Consider Other Options:

  • Lateral Entry : Since you have a diploma, if you're looking for lateral entry , you may consider applying to colleges that accept lateral entry after your diploma.

Other Factors to Keep in Mind:

  • Branch Preference : Popular branches like CSE, IT, Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical generally have a higher cutoff, but branches like Civil , Mechanical , and Electrical have comparatively lower cutoffs in some colleges.

  • Scholarships and Financial Aid : Many private universities offer scholarships based on JEE scores, which may help reduce your fees.

  • Private University Admissions : Check for universities that accept JEE Main scores, and review their criteria and cutoff ranges.

Conclusion :

With your JEE Main rank of 224,000 , your best options would likely be:

  • Private engineering colleges like VIT, SRM, Amity, Shiv Nadar , and others, where you may still be able to secure admission in branches other than the most competitive ones (like CSE ).

  • State government colleges through state-level exams or counseling in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh , and other states.
