The authorities will conduct MHT CET 2020 in multiples shifts. This means different sessions and question papers for all candidates. To maintain equivalence, a normalization procedure will be incorporated to determine the scores and ranks of the candidates who have qualified in the exam. Scores of the candidates will be declared in form of percentile scores ranging from 0 to 100. These scores are based on the relative performance of all candidates who appeared for MHT CET 2020. The MHT CET 2020 topper will get 100 percentile. There may be more than one candidate who may get a score of 100 percentile. In such a case the tie breaker methodology will be used to declare the MHT CET 2020 ranks. The marks obtained in between the highest and lowest scores will also be converted to appropriate percentiles. Candidates with lowest scores will get a percentile score of 0. The MHT CET percentile scores of candidates will be calculated upto five decimal places. The score of MHT CET 2020 can be calculated by using the below mentioned formula:
MHT CET Percentile Score = 100 * (Number of candidates in exam with normalized marks ≤ the candidate) ÷ Total number of candidates in the exam.
Candidate can understand the conversion with below mentioned example
For example in MHT CET PCM in which 276166 students appeared for the exam. To calculate the MHT CET rank 2020 rank, you first need to know the percentage of people ahead of you with higher percentile scores. To calculate that, the formula would be 100 which is the highest score minus your percentile score.
Since the percentile is calculated from a scale ranging from 100 to 0, the formula applies the total number of students which is 276166 /100 multiplied by the percentage of people who are ahead of you to arrive at the rank.
Therefore, the formula to calculate the rank is
Probable Rank = (100- percentile score) X 276166 /100
If percentile score is 90.70, rank will be (100-90.70) X 276166/100 = 25683
Admission to various B.Tech programmes offered by the 342 participating institutes will be on the basis of merit list/rank list of MHT CET 2020. Candidates who have appeared for the exam and qualified can check the MHT CET 2020 merit list by submitting their application ID and date of birth. Candidates will be allowed to file any grievances against the MHT CET 2020 provisonal merit list within a given frame of time folowing which they will be considered and the final MHT CET merit list 2020 will be published.
The minimum marks or ranks required by the candidates to be eligible for admission in the participating institutes will form the MHT CET 2020 cutoff. Candidates who will score higher marks or ranks then the cutoff of MHT CET will have higher chances of admission. However, qualifying the cutoff does not guarantee the admission of the candidates. The following table can be referred to know about the MHT CET cutoff for the year 2019.

if i score 145 in my pcm boards,so will i get any engineering college through CET
Your admission in engineering colleges through CET also depends upon your category considering your low aggregate score of PCM.
Your PCM aggregate is 145 which is around 48% but the eligibility criteria for engineering admissions is as follows :
* Candidates belonging to general category must have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2.
* Those candidates who belong to Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes or Other Backward Classes (OBC) must have scored at least 45% marks.
Hope it helps :)
