MHT CET 2019 - State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the MHT CET 2019 answer key on May 15 in online mode. Candidates can check the answer key by logging in to the MHT CET 2019 portal using their login ID and password. The MHT CET 2019 was conducted on May 2 and 3 (PCM) in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The online application process of MHT CET 2019 was available till March 23, 2019. Candidates were also allowed to complete their registration process from March 24 to 31 with an additional late fee of Rs. 500. MHT CET 2019 was conducted for the candidates who are seeking admission to various B.Tech programmes offered by its participating institutes. DTE Maharashtra has issued the MHT CET 2019 admit card on April 23 in online mode. Admit card is issued to those candidates only who have successfully filled the application form. It will carry information like exam centre details, candidate’s name, hall ticket number, exam timing etc. Candidates can download the admit card of MHT CET 2019 by entering their application number and password. However, before downloading the admit card, ensure that all the details furnished on it are correct.
The MHT CET 2019 admit card is an important document as failing to carry it to the examination centre will not allow candidates to appear for the exam.
Before proceeding towards applying for entrance exam, candidates had to refer and meet MHT CET 2019 eligibility criteria as prescribed by the authorities. The eligibility criteria vary from candidates belonging to different states/cities, state quota etc. Not only has this, eligibility criteria of MHT CET 2019 included the qualifying examination, marks, age criteria etc.
Nationality: Must be of Indian nationals
Age Criteria: No age limit for appearing in MHT CET 2019.
Qualifying Examination &Marks for General Category: Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board/ University with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Qualifying Examination &Marks for Reserve Category: Candidates belonging from SC/ST/OBC categories must have 45% and above in class 12.
Candidates appearing for class 12 board or equivalent examination in 2019 will also be eligible to appear for MHT CET 2019.
The application form of MHT CET 2019 was available in online mode. The last date to register was March 23. However, with late fee, the candidates could apply till March 31, 2019. Before proceeding towards filling the application form, candidates had to keep scanned images of their photograph and signature in the prescribed format. For the reference of the candidates, mentioned below are the steps to fill the MHT CET application form 2019:
Step-1 Register: candidates had to register themselves by submitting their personal, academic, contact, education, bank and other details. Candidates could opt for Registration through Aadhaar where details were fetched or Non-Aadhaar where they could fill the details.
Step-2 Generate Password: Once registered, the generated password had to be kept safe for all future communications.
Step-3 Fill the Application Form: Enter the other requisite details.
Step-4 Upload Scanned Images: Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in Jpg/ Jpeg format which should not be more than 50 KB.
Step-5 Pay Application Fee: Once enter all the details, MHT CET 2019 application fees had to be paid either through credit/debit card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), IMPS, Netbanking, Cash cards/mobile wallets. Candidates could pay through challan also.

DTE Maharashtra will release the MHT CET 2019 sample papers for the candidate's reference. The sample papers will include previous years question papers. Therefore, solving sample papers of MHT CET 2019 will enable candidates to understand the type and nature of the questions that will be asked during the entrance exam.
The MHT CET 2019 official answer key has been released by DTE Maharashtra on May 15. The answer key include correct responses of the questions asked in the entrance test. Admission to various B.Tech programmes offered by the participating institutes will be offered on the basis of merit list/rank list of MHT CET 2019. The authorities will publish the provisional merit list tentatively in the third week of June. Candidates can check the merit list by submitting their application ID and date of birth. Candidates can In case of any grievances against the MHT CET 2019 merit list, candidates can file it within the given deadline.
MHT CET 2019 counselling and seat allotment procedure will commence tentatively from the first week of June in online mode. The counselling will be conducted in three rounds along with one additional round to fill the vacant seats. The counselling is Centralized Counselling Process (CAP). Based on the merit list and preference of the candidates, MHT CET 2019 counselling will be conducted. Candidates who will be placed higher will be preferred over the lower-ranked candidates while the seat allotment and counselling of MHT CET 2019. To participate in the MHT CET 2019 counselling candidates will have to register themselves. Along with the registration, candidates will have to pay the counselling fee also.
