MHT CET 2017 - The final merit list of MHT CET 2017 for candidates belonging to All India category and the state of Maharashtra has been announced. Candidates need to log in by entering their application id and date of birth final merit status. The provisional seat allotment of MHT CET 2017 for CAP Additional Round has already been announced. The seat allotment for MHT CET 2017 for Round III was announced earlier on July 24. The vacant seats for Round 3 of MHT CET 2017 was announced on July 16, 2017. The provisional Round II of seat allotment of MHT CET 2017 was announced on July 10, 2017. DTE Maharashtra had declared the MHT CET 2017 final merit list on June 22, 2017. All of the candidates whose names were present in the merit list were eligible to participate in the counselling process.The counselling session of MHT CET 2017 commenced on June 5, 2017. DTE conducted the counselling in online mode. MHT CET 2017 exam was conducted on May 11, while the result was declared on June 3, 2017. The MHT CET 2017 admit card was available from April 24. The application form was made available by DTE Maharashtra from February 14 to March 23 without late fees and from April 7 to 10 with late fee. The application fee of MHT CET 2017 could be paid online only. MHT CET 2017 was conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra for admissions to engineering programmes offered by state engineering colleges of Maharashtra. DTE Maharashtra had scrapped MHT CET in 2014 & 15 to incorporate admissions through JEE Main scores. However, from 2016, the MHT CET exam was re-introduced for undergraduate engineering admissions. The academic year 2017-18 would be the second year for conducting MHT CET across the participating institutes of MHT CET 2017. What's new in MHT CET 2017?
No offline application fee payment option is available for the admission year of 2017-18, unlike last year where bank challan facility was available for application fee payment.
For the admission year 2017, while filling the MHT CET 2017 application form Aadhaar Card Number will be required.
Educational eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech/B.E. programmes for 15% All India Quota seats through MHT CET 2017 in private unaided colleges/institutions has been changed from the academic year 2017-18. According to the new eligibility criteria, unlike previous years, candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota seats need not appear in MHT CET 2017, as the candidates will be admitted under this quota based on the merit list of JEE Main 2017 Paper I Score. However, as per DTE Maharashtra officials, in case seats in this 15% All India Quota remain vacant, then the seats will be offered to candidates of MHT CET 2017 as per their merit prepared on the basis of their CET score.

MHT CET Counselling 2017
Online registrations for MHT CET Counselling 2017 commenced from June 5, 2017. The Counselling of MHT CET 2017 was conducted by DTE Maharashtra on the basis of merit of the examinees in MHT CET 2017. All of the candidates who qualified the entrance examination with the required marks had to register themselves for the counselling session from June 5 to June 17, 2017. Uploading of documents for verification had to be done after which the final merit list was declared. The selected candidates had to fill the option form where their preferences have to be submitted following which the allotment of seats will be done. All admissions are done based on the merit and preference of colleges and course. DTE Maharashtra conducts counselling, seat allotment and admission process for qualifying candidates of MHT CET 2017 into undergraduate engineering programmes across the engineering colleges in the state. DTE Maharashtra will also announce the closing rank of all engineering institutes/ colleges of MHT CET once the counselling is over. There will be four rounds including an additional round of counselling.
There were three rounds of MHT CET seat allotment and an additional round of seat allotment. The provisional allotment for CAP Additional Round for MHT CET 2017 has been announced. Candidates can check the result by entering their application number and date of birth. The provisional allotment of CAP Round II and Round-III for MHT CET 2017 was announced on July 10 and July 24, 2017, respectively. The provisional allotment of CAP Round 1 was announced on June 28, 2017 and the display of the vacant seats of the second round of CAP of MHT CET 2017 was done on July 5, 2017. After the reporting to the allotted institute, submission of the remaining admission fees and verification of documents from July 25 to July 29, 2017 (upto 5:00 p.m), the display of the additional round of vacant seats took place on July 31, 2017. The display of the provisional allotment for the second round was announced on August 3, 2017 and reporting to the allotted institute and confirmation of admission had to done from August 4, 2017 to August 6, 2017 (upto 5:00 p.m).

MHT CET Answer Key 2017
The official answer key for MHT CET which is provisional was declared on May 26, 2017. DTE Maharashtra announced that 4 questions are invalid in the MHT CET question paper. Therefore all candidates will be awarded 5 bonus marks in lieu of the same. The answer key of MHT CET 2017 is released by many coaching centres like Vidyalankar, Aakash, Rao IIT etc. Candidates can download the question paper with solutions provided by the institutes. Candidates who have objections to the provisional answer key will be required to write to the authorities by May 28 in the given format. They must use their registered email ID to submit their objections online to [email protected] The scanned OMR sheets of the candidates was available from May 26 to June 2, 2017. After considering the objections, the admission committee will publish the final answer keys of MHT CET 2017. check the MHT CET answer key 2017 and download the same.
MHT CET Result 2017
The Result of MHT CET 2017 was announced for candidates who took the national level engineering entrance test for B.Tech programmes on June 3, 2017 at 5 pm. Through MHT CET 2017 Result, DTE Maharashtra will release rank card/score cards online of the candidates who have appeared for the exam. MHT CET 2017 Result will carry the actual scores of the candidates they have secured in MHT CET 2017. Candidates have to download their result of MHT CET 2017 by entering their application number, date of birth and security key. MHT CET 2017 examinees must not forget to take printout of their MHT CET 2017 result and should keep it safe till the admissions are over. The test takers must carry MHT CET 2017 Admit Card, along with application form & challan printouts/valid Photo ID proof for identity verification to the exam centre on the examination centres. A separate merit list will be prepared by as per the scores of the candidates for different B.Tech courses.
MHT CET Merit List 2017
The final merit list of MHT CET 2017 was released by DTE Maharashtra for those candidates who have appeared for the state level engineering entrance test. DTE Maharashtra published the final merit list of MHT CET 2017 for admissions to B.Tech programmes across the participating institutes of MHT CET 2017 on June 21, 2017. The candidates were able to file their grievances regarding MHT CET Merit List 2017 from June 20 to June 21. Admissions to the state engineering colleges of Maharashtra will be based on test takers Merit/Rank List of MHT CET 2017.

MHT CET Admit Card 2017
The Admit Card of MHT CET 2017 was available from April 24 to May 11, 2017 by DTE Maharashtra for candidates who have successfully filled in the application form of MHT CET 2017. The admit card of MHT CET 2017 could be downloaded by the candidates by entering the Application Number, Password (obtained during MHT CET 2017 Application Form submission) and Security Key. MHT CET 2017 Admit Card is an important document, hence candidates must ensure that they don’t damage the admit card and carry it to the test centre on the exam day.
Note: Without a valid admit card of MHT CET 2017, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall or take the entrance test.

MHT CET Eligibility Criteria 2017
The Eligibility Criteria of MHT CET 2017 are the conditions that are required by the candidates to be met in order to be considered eligible for the entrance exam. MHT CET Eligibility Criteria 2017 includes eligibility conditions like academic qualification, age, marks and percentage secured in the qualifying marks, number of attempts, etc.

MHT CET Application Form 2017
The Application Form of MHT CET 2017 with late fee was available from April 7 to 10. Earlier the application form of MHT CET 2017 with late fee was available till March 30. MHT CET 2017 application form without late fee was available from February 14 to March 23. Editing or Updation of details in the MHT CET Application Form 2017 was available from March 24 till 30, 2017. This facility accorded only once for any candidates who have filled the application but needs to correct some details or update the same. The application form of MHT CET 2017 is available online. Candidates must bear in mind to keep ready scanned images and photograph of the signature in the required dimensions before filling up MHT CET 2017 application form.

During the registration, the applicants have to create their own password. Preserve this password for all future communications and references.
After registration process is complete, start filling in the online application form
Once they have filled the application form of MHT CET 2017, the desirous candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature not more than 50 KB in size.
Now they have to pay the application fee, which can be done only through online mode. The online application fee payment channels for MHT CET 2017 are Credit Card/Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), IMPS, Internet Banking, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets. Once the fee payment is done, candidates must take printout of the confirmation page of the application form submission page after the application filling process is complete. This printout is not supposed to be sent through post.

Aspiring candidates for undergraduate engineering programmes need to appear in Paper I and Paper II.
For Health Science degree and other courses, the candidates have to appear in Paper III.
For incorrect answers, there will be no negative marking.
Each of three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will have 50 questions each, making it a total of 150 questions.
Each correct answer in Physics and Chemistry will be awarded 1 mark, while each correct answer in Mathematics section will be given 2 marks.
Each paper will be allotted 1.30 hours or 90 minutes
For physics and chemistry, the test will be conducted in English or Urdu or Marathi while Mathematics will be conducted in English only.
MHT CET 2017 will be offline or Pen & Paper based test wherein candidates have to blacken the answer options on OMR sheet.
MHT CET Syllabus 2017
