MHT CET Eligibility Criteria 2021

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of MHT CET 2021 after it is officially released by the authorities. The eligibility criteria will consist of the requirements that the candidates will have to meet to be eligible to participate in the entrance examination and admission process. In case the candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria, then they will be disqualified from the admissions procedure.

MHT CET Application Form 2021

The authorities will be releasing the application form of MHT CET 2021 in online mode only. Candidates will be able to access the form only in online mode. It is essential for the candidates to submit the application form within the prescribed dates otherwise they will not be registered for the entrance examination.

Which documents will be required for MHT CET 2021 application form?

The candidates will be required to keep the following documents ready before filling out the application form to make the process smoother:

• Photograph - 15KB to 50KB in jpg format. Name of the file should be ‘photo.jpg’

• Signature - 5KB to 20KB in jpg format. Should be on a white paper in black ink. Name of the file should be ‘sign.jpg’.

• Identity Proof - 15KB to 256KB in PDF

How to fill MHT CET application form 2021?

Step 1 - Registration: Firstly the candidates will have to go to the official website and register using their email address, mobile number, name, father’s name, date of birth and gender. A password also has to be generated by the candidates for future use.

Step 2 - Filling of Application Form: Personal, academic and contact details have to be filled out by the candidates in the application form. They will also have to select the preferred exam city and medium.

Step 3 - Uploading of Documents: Photograph, signature and identity proof has to be scanned and uploaded by the candidates as per the specifications given by the authorities.

Step 4 - Fee Payment: Candidates will have to pay the required application fee through online mode (credit/debit card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), IMPS, Netbanking, Cash cards/mobile wallets).

Step 5 - Submission of Form: Finally, the application form has to be submitted and a print out has to be taken for future reference.

MHT CET 2021 Application Form Correction

In case the candidates make any mistakes in their application form, they will have to fill out a new one as the authorities do not give a facility to correct the submitted forms. The old application form has to be cancelled and a new one has to be filled out and submitted. It has to be noted that the previously paid fee will not be refunded or adjusted.

While filling out the application form, the candidates will have to select their preferred exam centre of MHT CET 2021. Since allotment of exam centres will be done as per preference and availability, the candidates are advised to select wisely. MHT CET Admit Card 2021

Registered candidates will be able to access the admit card of MHT CET 2021 in online mode. To download the admit card, the candidates will have to login using their MHT CET 2021 application number and password. The admit card has to be downloaded and kept safely since it will be required during the entrance examination. If the admit card is not presented at the examination centre, then the candidates will not be allowed to attempt the exam. The authorities have released the official syllabus of MHT CET 2021 on the official website. Subjects and topics which the candidates have to study for the upcoming entrance examination are listed out in the syllabus. According to the authorities, the syllabus is 80% based on the 12th standard syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 20% on 11th standard syllabus.

Careers360 will release the rank predictor of MHT CET 2021 which the candidates can use to calculate their estimated ranks before the official result is announced. To use the rank predictor, the candidates will have to enter their registration number, expected marks, date of birth and more details. The ranks calculated by the predictor will be indicative in nature.

MHT CET Result 2021

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will declare the official result of MHT CET 2021 in online mode only. To access the result, the candidates will have to login using their MHT CET 2021 roll number. MHT CET 2021 result will consist of percentile scores secured by the candidate and their personal details. The result will be available for download in the form of a scorecard.

Since the examination will be conducted in multiple shifts, a normalization procedure will be incorporated to determine the scores and ranks of the candidates who have qualified in the exam. Scores of the candidates will be declared in the form of percentile scores ranging from 0 to 100.

MHT CET College Predictor 2021

After the official result is declared, the candidates will be able to use the college predictor of MHT CET 2021 to know which colleges they will probably be eligible for based on their scores. Candidates will have to enter their rank, score, category and preferred branches to use the college predictor. The list of colleges with the chance of admissions will be displayed on the screen.

MHT CET Merit List 2021

The authorities will prepare the merit list of MHT CET 2021 on the basis of the result. The provisional merit list will be released first which the candidates will have to check in online mode by entering their application ID and date of birth. Objections against the provisional merit list will be accepted by the authorities. The final merit list will be released after the objections will be checked.

MHT CET Cutoff 2021

Minimum marks or ranks that have to be secured by the candidates for higher chances of admission will constitute the cutoff of MHT CET 2021. The authorities will prepare the cutoff after checking various factors related to the entrance examination such as number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, previous year cutoff trends and more.

MHT CET Counselling and Seat Allotment 2021

Qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling and seat allotment of MHT CET 2021 which will be conducted as a Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Firstly, the candidates will have to register for the counselling session and fill out their choice of colleges and courses in the order of preference. There is no counselling fee for MHT CET 2021 candidates, however, JEE Main candidates will have to pay a certain fee. After registration, the candidates will have to go to the facilitation centres for document verification. Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of merit, preferences and availability of seats. The allotted candidates will have to confirm their seat by freezing it. They can also slide for a seat in the institute alloted but for a different course and float for upgrading to a higher choice of college and course in the next rounds.
