MU OET 2018 -The online application form of MU OET 2018 is available now and the last date for filling it is March 11, 2018. Manipal University will conduct the online entrance exam of MU OET 2018 (1st and 2nd attempt) in at least 46 test cities in India including 1 in Dubai from April 19 to May 9, 2018. The third attempt of MU OET 2018 will be held on May 11, 2018. Candidates have the option to appear in the MU OET 2018 entrance exam three times. MU OET 2018 merit list will be declared on May 14, 2018. Only those candidates who register themselves will be able to sit for the examination. MU OET offers admissions into the 16 B.Tech courses available in the constituent institutes of Manipal University – Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim and Manipal University Jaipur. All candidates who are aspiring to pursue their engineering studies in Manipal University will be required to meet the eligibility criteria of MU OET 2018. The different criteria to be met by the candidates are listed below:
The candidates should have successfully completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. 50% marks should have been secured in Physics and Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects in 10+2 or A level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent.
According to the MU OET 2018 eligibility criteria, the candidates should have compulsorily studied Physics, Mathematics and English. Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology or any technical vocational subject should be optional subjects.
In the entrance examination of MU OET 2018, the candidates will be required to secure 50% marks.

The online application form of MU OET 2018 is available now for all aspiring candidates. All candidates are required to fill and submit the application form before March 11, 2018 to register for the entrance examination and admission process. The process of MU OET 2018 application form comprises five steps:
Step 1 – Registration: The candidates will have to enter their personal details to register themselves. The application number will be generated during registration.
Step 2 – Fill Contact and Communication Details: Detailed address of the candidate has to be filled.
Step 3 – Qualification Details: The candidates will have to enter their academic and qualification details.
Step 4 – Selection of Course and Payment of Fees: Next, the candidates will be required to select their course, exam cities and more. Payment of fees will have to be done through net banking/credit card/debit card or through Demand Draft. The application fee is same for all category candidates

General English Syllabus
Questions on general english like spotting of errors, sentence improvement, vocabulary and more.
All registered candidates will be required to book their slots for the date and time when they wish to take the test. MU OET 2018 Slot Booking for 1st and 2nd attempt will be available from March 31 to April 5, while the test slot booking for 3rd attempt would be available on May 9 and 10. MU OET 2018 slot booking will be done through Online Test Booking System (OTBS) in three attempts. The candidates will have to book their MU OET 2018 test slot as per their preference. The date, time and slot will have to be selected by the candidates. It is mandatory for all candidates to complete slot booking of MU OET 2018. The booked slot cannot be changed under any circumstances by the candidates.
The admit card of MU OET 2018 will be available to all registered candidates only after the slot booking process is completed. MU OET 2018 admit card will be published after 24 hours of the slot booking. All candidates will be required to download the admit card and produce it at the examination centre. Failure to bring the admit card will result in the candidates not being able to sit for the exam. MU OET 2018 admit card will consist of the name of the candidate, roll number, exam centre, timings and more.
The concerned authorities of Manipal University will be responsible for determining the minimum scores required to qualify the entrance examination of MU OET 2018. Based on the cutoff of MU OET 2018, admissions will be provided to the qualified candidates into the offered programmes. MU OET 2018 cutoff will be prepared based on a variety of factors i.e., total number of candidates, number of seats available, previous year cutoff trends and more.
The result of MU OET 2018 will be available online tentatively during the fourth week of May 2018. The candidates will have to log in using their application number and password to access MU OET 2018 result. The All India Rank of the candidates will be available in the result. A merit list will also be generated by the admission committee. The score card of MU OET 2018 will be available for download. Based on the result/rank of the candidates, admissions will be provided into the participating institutes of MU OET 2018.
All qualified candidates will have to report for MU OET 2018 counselling tentatively during the first week of June to the second week of June 2018. The mode of counselling will be offline. The candidates will have to report at the counselling venue and register themselves. Selection of preferred college and course has to be done by the candidates during registration. The required counselling fee has to be paid by the candidates through demand draft. Verification of documents will commence after which seats will be allotted as per the ranking of the candidates and his/her selected choices. The allotted candidates will be given allotment letter and receipt for paid fees. These candidates will have to report at their allotted institutes for confirmation of admission.

The payment of fees has to be done in offline mode i.e., through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Manipal Academy of Higher Education” payable at Manipal or Udupi. MU OET 2018 FAQs
Q. Are the dates different for both online and offline applications?
Ans: The application form of MU OET 2018 can be filled in online mode only. Registration is currently open and will close on March 11,2018.
The application fee for the exam can, however, be paid in both online and offline mode. If the payment is made offline, the candidate will have to take a printout of the application form and send it along with the DD to the admission office.
Q. When will MU OET counselling start?
Ans: Counselling and seat allotment of MU OET 2018 will be conducted in multiple rounds. The first round of MU OET 2018 counselling is expected to start in the first week of June.
