Good Luck!!
Dear student, If you belong from SC category , then you must have to secure a very good rank, as well as marks in jee advanced to get CSE in any one of the top 10 IITs . Now, for getting a sure seat in the 10th ranked iit, you have to secure atleast under 170 to 200 rank for getting cse. So, for getting 170 sc rank you must have to score atleast 140 marks in jee advanced. Then you can imagine that for getting cse in top iits like iit madras, iit Delhi or iit Bombay you have to secure under 50 sc rank, that is your jee advanced marks must be above 160. So, I think you have got a rough idea of marks or ranks for getting a sure seat in cse in top 10 iits.
All the best !
Yes you are not eligible for JEE Advanced but through JEE Mains you can get a good college. And there is no any other procedure for gap year, It is normal.
Meanwhile, you can predict your college with the help of college predictor tool.

Hey aspirant
For appearing jee advanced you need to qualify jee mains with minimum cut off mark. For sc candidate 47 percentile is minimum cut off. So for 38.5 percentile you can't appear for jee advanced.
Hi
You can download previous year's question papers of JEE advanced by going through the link provided below:-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-question-papers
Practicing these papers will help you to
understand the difficulty level of question paper
Your preparation level
Solving in a limited time will tell you your time management skills etc.
To help you further,
JEE advanced examination pattern is given below based on past years:-
JEE advanced examination pattern keeps changing every year a little bit.
* JEE advanced consists of two papers:-
• Paper I
• Paper II
* time:- 3 hours for each paper, 4 hours in case of PWD candidate for each paper
* both the papers have three sections
PAPER I:-
*Physics
*Chemistry
*Mathematics
In jee advanced 2020, paper 1 consisted of a total of 54 questions with 18 questions in each section.
PAPER II:-
In jee advanced 2020, paper 2 also consisted of a total of 54 questions with 18 questions in each section
MARKING SCHEME:- You get 0 mark, full mark, and partial mark.
TYPES OF QUESTIONS ASKED:-
* Questions with a single Correct Option:- you get 3 marks if the option chosen by you is correct and 0 marks if you haven't attempted it and -1 mark if the option chosen by you is wrong.
*Questions with one or more correct options:- you get 4 Marks if you choose all the correct options, you get 3 marks if 4 options are correct but you choose only three correct options, you get 2 marks if three options are correct but you choose only 2 correct options and you get 1 mark if two or more are options are correct but you choose only one option and that is correct and in the rest of the cases you get -2 marks and 0 if you don't attempt the question
* Question with numerical value answer:- No options are there. You get 4 marks if the numerical value entered by you is correct, 0 marks if you leave it o unattempted or the numerical value entered by you is wrong.
*Question with single digit integer answer:- You get 3 marks if the digit entered by you is correct, 0 marks if you don't attempt the question, and -1 mark if the digit entered by you is wrong.
*List Match Sets question:- You get 3 marks if you choose the option corresponding to the correct combination. 0 mark if you don't attempt the question and -1 mark if the option chosen by you is wrong

For jee advanced sample papers go through below link. https://engineering.careers360.com/download/jee-advanced-sample-papers-previous-years
You can also do other mock test and also solve all previous year advanced papers. Make all the topics and concepts coming under previous year papers clear.
Here are some of the important topics for jee advanced.
Physics : rotational motion, thermodynamics, optics, electrostatics, SHM, magnetism,
Mathematics - complex number, circles, permutation and combination, trignometry, quadaratic equation, vector, probablity, triangle ,calculus, conic section, sequence and series,
Chemistry - chemical bonding, electrochemistry, cordination compound, ionic equilibrium, thermodynamics and thermochemistry, aldehyde and ketones, aromatic compoubds, alkyl and aryl halides, isomers, liquid solutions.
The thing that you are asking is not possible to predict because the dynamics changes every year and it depends on the number of sc students , how they are performing and also the toughness level of the paper .
I would suggest you to keep your score atleast 60-70+ in jee advanced to be on a safer side.
