Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test
Makarand admissions to IISER 2018 will be through three channels:
Among these 3 channels, only the students going through the SCB channel have to appear in IISER Aptitude Test 2018. This test comprises of four subjects of equal weightage: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. 15 questions in each subject and gets you +3 marks for each correct question and -1 for incorrect answers.
Even when you don't have biology subject you don't have any other option and needs to give this test. Although questions in Biology will not be so difficult still I can imagine your problem, you can go through the syllabus and look out for some of the topics otherwise the only option you have to score more in the other 3 subjects.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!
54 marks in what??
Kvpy or iat ?
Hello ,
this is to inform you that ypu have not mentioned the category you belong to in your question.add details of it . all the very best for your future .
hey there!
Both of the courses that you have mentioned above are entirely different. One is related with engineering aspects and the other with research aspects in any one specified subject. It is upto you in deciding between these two.In the current scenario I would suggest you to go for the dual degree in any of the IISER's since there are more value and opportunities existing there now when compared to Btech EEE in CET. The number of passouts from IISER's are also a huge factor since it has only limitted vaccancies a small amout of IISER students come out every year but in the case of other numerous passouts are featuring every year.
