It would be up to you to choose you want which channel you want to be considered to apply for admission in IISER ,you can choose anyone between JEE Advanced and SCB but not both .

You need to score more than 100-110 atleast to secure a seat at the IISER.You can also get admission over there with your jee advance rank.If your jee advance rank is within 10000 you can apply.And for the exam you need to score good.The exam is not too difficult if all your concepts are clear.
Regarding your touch with maths,try to revise all the topics of class 11 and 12.You can follow some of the books like differential calculus by Amit M Agarwal and many more books of different topis of Arihant.

Yes viteee is good college. They have good placement too. In CS, it has good placement record & it provides good internship. It has good infrastructure & has good lab. If you getting this college, take it. Don't wait for another college. Best of luck.

The last year cutoff for IAT exam for general category students is 80 to 85 marks ,OBCNC/ST/SC may be 75 to 80 .

Marks are not released in IISER Aptitude Test. Hence, there is no cutoff. But try to score more than 110 out of 180. TRy to score maximum as much as possible.

For the admission in IISER through SCB , candidates have to score within cutoff.
For admission in IISER through SCB a candidate must have to :-
• Candidate have to pass 10+2 with science stream .
• For admission candidates have to score within in cut-off .
• Candidates whi apply should appear for IAT exam.
IISER have different percentage Cut-off for different board of India :-
Board . % cut-off
Kerala. 93.3
CBSE. 90
Assam. 74 .5
Chhattisgarh . 76.6
Maharashtra . 77.9
Now As you have 81% and you belong to Kerala .. sorry to say .but you no able to apply for IISER ..but you can definitely try for other...

During the counselling process, the allotment is based on the availability of seats, your rank in the merit list, and your preference. Once you have got your name in the merit list released by IISER, you need to fill the IISER application form released by the conducting body. Then you need to fill your choices online (fill it very carefully, because this will determine your chances of getting your preferred choice). Then you need to report to alloted centre for document verification. Finally institute will allot you seat on the basis of availability of seats, your rank in the merit list, and your preference. Then you need to pay the minimal amount to lock your choices.
This is what required in counselling and nothing more than this will be asked to do.
