Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test
Hi there,
For IISC , if you want to pursue b tech then you need to give jee mains and a separate paper for IISC, if you want to pursue msc then you must clear KVPY exam.
For IIST, IISER you have clear both jee mains and jee advance with a good rank. For Niser there is separate paper you need to clear that.
I hope this help
Hello Aspirant,
Like any other exam, the cut-off for IISER test is also not a constant. It changes every year, but the difficulty is usually about the JEE mains level, with a few advanced type questions. Results are out within 2 days of the test, and if you are selected, your name, the allotted IISER would be listed.
Still as far as an estimate is concerned :
For IISER Pune & Kolkata ( General Category ) : 110/180
For IISER Pune & Kolkata (SC Category) : 98/180
ANY other IISERs ( General Category ) : 70/180
ANY other IISER (SC category) : 57/180

Hope this was helpful.
Hello Aspirant
You're a student of class 12th and are willing to go for IISER examination. To be eligible for this Examination you must have to score atleast 65 percent in your 12th board examination (as you're from SC category).
If a candidate from general category wants to give this Examination then he'll have to secure atleast 75percent in his/her board examination.
Best of luck !
Hello! Hope you are doing good
IISER doesnt release any marks, there is absolutely no disclosure of marks and thus there are no cutoffs. You just know whether you're in or not. But according to the previous years feedback by the students, for general category atleast 90/180 was a necessity to get into any IISER. For SC category, its somewhere around 70/180.
All the best
