There is an equal weightage for all the four subjects(physics, chemistry, maths, biology) in IISER aptitude test. The questions will be theory based and answering them will be possible only if we are thorough with NCERT.
Students who have passed 10+2 level with science stream in 2018 or 2019 are eligible to apply
for admissions and appear for IAT 2019.
However, they will be considered for admissions to the degree programmes only if they
obtain the cut-off marks specified for their board.
Students applying through SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT)
which will be conducted at various centres across the country.
Here I am providing the cutoff marks for General category of some popular boards (out of 500):

Hi Gauri,
There are other options because obviously result will be out in the mid of May.
What you can do is contact the officials and check if they can accept the Pre-boards result which you had in Jan or Dec most probably.
Or you can ask if they accept Mid term class 12 result in case you haven't given you Pre-boards.
Good Luck !!!
