No.Only 12th exam appearing student and 1st dropper are allowed to get admission in IISc Banglore but you can write JEE exam 6 times in 3 consecutive years and

You can only write IISER Aptitude twice in the lifetime that too only consecutively

This year eligibility criteria of IISc says that candidate who passed 12th in 2023 and who are giving 12th exam in 2024 are eligible to apply for admission in IISc.

But you can apply for NISER &UM CEBS through NEST.

Hope it helps!

It is quite impossible to get top branches like CSE, IT, AIML in any colleges of IPU because your rank is not upto mark but in affiliated colleges for the candidates,  you can get admission for branches like ECE, EEE, Mechanical in less popular colleges such as GTBIT, DTC for sure and there is a very less chance to get seat in mid-tier colleges like BPIT, Akhilesh das if you go with low branches if try till the spot round, so i would suggest you to fill your choices accordingly and try to prefer a college which is near your home.

Hello Student,
There is nothing to worry about, apply for the JOSAA counseling. The moment you get a seat allocated, there is a process to get the documents verification, you will be provided with the information about the center (closest NIT/ IIT from your place ). At that time bring this issue to the concerned verification authority at the allocated center. They will ask you to furnish Notary certified affidavit, In this you have to state that the father's Name written on the Admit Card, and your Father's Name (correct version) are the same person.
In advance get the Notary certified affidavit ready from some local Notary, and submit at the documents verification center . This will save you from the last moment rush.
You can update father's name on Aadhar Card easily near any choice center of your locality. As it will be beneficial to you. But there would not be any issue if you're alloted a seat.
Thankyou. Hope this information helps you.

Hello,

Yes, the discrepancy in your father's name across different documents might cause issues during admission through JoSAA or while appearing for JEE Mains and Advanced. Admission authorities typically require consistency in names across all documents to avoid any identity verification problems.

Potential Problems:

1. Verification Issues: During the document verification process, any mismatch in names might raise questions and could delay or complicate your admission process.

2. Rejection of Application: In some cases, applications may be rejected due to inconsistencies in personal information.

Solutions:

1. Get a Name Correction:

- For Marksheets: You can apply for a correction of your father's name in your Class 10th and 12th marksheets. This usually involves submitting an application to the respective education board along with supporting documents like a birth certificate or Aadhaar card.

- For Aadhaar Card: If possible, you might also consider updating your father's name on your Aadhaar card to match the other documents.

2. Affidavit:

- You can create an affidavit stating that both names refer to the same person. This affidavit can be used during the document verification process to explain the discrepancy.

3. Gazette Notification:

- If the name discrepancy is significant and you wish to legally change it, you can have the correct name published in the government gazette. However, this is more commonly done for personal name changes rather than parental names.

4. Ask Admission Authorities:

- It’s also a good idea to contact the admission authorities (JoSAA or the respective exam body) and explain the situation. They can provide specific guidance on how to handle the discrepancy.

Immediate Steps:

1. Apply for corrections if time permits, as this will permanently resolve the issue.

2. Prepare an affidavit to have a backup plan for the document verification process during admissions.

By addressing this issue proactively, you can prevent any potential problems during your admissions process.

Hope it helps!
