Generally, the difficulty level of SLAT is considered easier than the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) or the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) conducted by NLU Delhi. There is no negative marking in SLAT 2024, so candidates will not lose any marks for incorrect answers. Candidates get two chances to appear for the SLAT, of which the best score is considered. However, candidates have to solve 60 questions within 60 minutes which gives an average time of 1 minute per question. So, time management is also a key factor for a good score in SLAT 2024.
Considering SLAT 2024 exam analysis in the past, a good score in SLAT 2024 would be in the range of 45-50 marks. Among the four Symbiosis Law Schools, SLS Pune is often the first choice for students. The SLAT cut off data for past years suggests a higher cut off score for SLS Pune. However, 40+ would be a good score in SLAT 2024 to bag a seat in atleast one of the four law schools.
An important aspect of the analysis of SLAT 2024 is to understand its exam pattern. The SLAT exam pattern 2024 consists of 60 questions divided across five sections. The Symbiosis Law Admission Test is conducted in online mode at designated exam centres across the country.
