Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, will conduct AP EAMCET 2018 in online mode from April 22-25 for admission to B.Tech programmes in engineering colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Dates related to other events of the entrance exam have not been released yet. Candidates can expect the application form of AP EAMCET to open around the 2nd week of February. The exam dates of AP PGECET 2018, which is the entrance test for admission to PG engineering courses and is conducted by Andhra University, have also been released and will be conducted from May 10-12; the application form of AP PGECET is expected around 1st week of March.
Candidates seeking to apply for the undergraduate entrance exam must ensure that they meet the AP EAMCET eligibility criteria 2018, as otherwise they will not be considered for admission. Once eligibility criteria is taken care of, candidates can proceed to fill the application form of AP EAMCET, which will be available in online mode only. The application filling process includes payment of application fee and registration, filling of relevant details, uploading of documents, and application submission.
Candidates who successfully fill the application form of AP EAMCET will have to download their admit cards online using their registration mumber and date of birth. The hall ticket of AP EAMCET will carry details like the name and address of the exam, date and time of exam, and roll number of candidate. After, the exam is over, the exam conducting body will first release a provisional answer key, tentatively in 4th week of April, that will contain the correct answers to questions asked in the entrance exam. Candidates will be able to challenge this answer key and request changes. Final answer key will be released before publication of result.
To give edge to their preparation, candidates are urged to take the online mock test available on the institute website. The AP EAMCET mock test is a simulation of the actual exam, so the candidate will be able to get important insights into the exam – like type of questions asked, difficulty level, how to manuever across different sections, and whether there would be a color palette to differentiate status of different questions (e.g., answered, unanswered, etc.). All this will help to give momentum to one’s exam preparation.
