The registration for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2018 will end tomorrow i.e. January 19, 2018. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, the exam conducting body started the registration on December 19 in online mode for admission to B.Tech programmes offered by the participating institutes of WBJEE. However, the application form of only eligible candidates would have been taken into consideration. Candidates who have not yet applied for the entrance exam must not wait for the application to end and fill and submit the application form by today itself. While filling the application form, candidates will have to provide their personal and academic details and will also have to upload the required scanned documents in the format prescribed. The payment of application fee for WBJEE is a mandatory step to be followed after filling all the necessary details. Candidates need to take a print out of the confirmation page generated after submitting the application form.

Before filling the application form, it is important that candidates check the eligibility criteria of WBJEE 2018.
Eligibility Criteria of WBJEE 2018
Candidates should be Indian.
They should have a minimum age of 17 years as on December 31, 2018.
They should have qualified in 10+2 or any equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Computer Application as the third subject.
General category candidates should have obtained minimum 45% marks in their qualifying exam in the above three subjects taken together. The reserved candidates, however, need 40% for the same.
All candidates need to have qualified in English in 10+2 with minimum 30% marks.
Candidates should be residents of West Bengal for 10 years consecutively as on December 31, 2017 OR the candidates' parents should be permanent residents of West Bengal with a permanent residential address in the state.
