West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has released the information brochure of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2018 on November 18, 2017. WBJEEB officials have released several important dates like that of application correction, admit card and result announcement through the brochure. As per WBJEEB officials, WBJEE admit card 2018 will be available for downloading from April 10, 2018. The date for the availability of admit card has been changed. Now, WBJEE 2018 admit card will be available 2 days in advance than the earlier announced date. Earlier, WBJEE admit card was scheduled to be available from April 12, 2018. However, as per the latest dates announced by the exam conducting authority, it will now be available 2 days early.
The exam conducting authority had earlier released dates pertaining to WBJEE 2018 including exam, application form availability and admit card. Careers360 had earlier reported that WBJEE 2018 will be held on April 22, while the application form will be available in online mode from December 19, 2017 to January 19, 2018. The paper of Mathematics (Paper I) will be conducted separately from 11 am to 1 pm on April 22, while Physics and Chemistry Paper (Paper II) will be held as a combined paper from 2 pm to 4 pm on April 22.

Once aspiring candidates will be able to successfully fill and submit their applications for the state level engineering entrance test before the last date, they will also be able make corrections in their submitted application form, if any, in a window of 3 days from January 26 to 28. Successfully registered candidates will be able to download their admit card of WBJEE 2018 from April 10. They need to produce this admit card on the day of the examination at the examination centre of WBJEE 2018 allotted to them.
After conducting the examination, WBJEEB will declare the result of the entrance test on June 5, 2018. The result of WBJEE 2018 will be available in online mode and candidates have to enter their application number and password.
Every year WBJEEB conducts WBJEE for admission to Undergraduate Courses in Engineering & Technology and Architecture courses in Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self Financed Institutes in the State. Over 1.27 lakh candidates register every year for appearing in WBJEE for admissions to B.Tech/B.E. programmes across the participating institutes. In 2017, WBJEE was conducted across 19 districts in the state and in 2 test centres in the states of Assam and Tripura in offline mode.
