VIT University will conduct VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2018 from April 4 to April 15 in online mode. Apart from the examination dates, the university officials have also announced the application availability dates. According to VIT University officials, the application form of VITEEE 2018 will be available in online as well as offline mode from November 9, 2017 onwards. For academic year 2018, VITEEE will be held in 3 sessions everyday from April 4 to 15. VITEEE 2018 will be held from 9 am to 11.30 am (first session), from 12.30 pm to 3 pm (second session) and from 4 pm to 6.30 pm (last and 3rd session).

Apart from the examination and application dates, the university has not declared any other date pertaining to the events of VITEEE 2018. However, some changes have been made in the application procedure and application fee. The offline application fee has been revised, while the applicants have to submit scanned copy of Aadhar Card or proof of enrolment ID of Aadhar Card while filling the online application form. Earlier, where the fee for offline application form was Rs. 990, for academic year 2018-19 it has been increased to Rs. 1,200 (inclusive of GST). However, for the online application there is no announcement on any fee revision. Thus, it remains the same as last year till an official announcement is made.

Besides the offline application fee revision and uploading scanned copy of Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Enrollment ID in the online application form, the university has not made any other changes for 2018-19. Alike last year, the entrance test will be held be held in online mode for 2.30 hours in 3 sessions.
For appearing in VITEEE 2018, General category candidates (born on or after July 1, 1996) must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam (+2/Intermediate), whereas SC/ST and candidates belonging to North Eastern States have to secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in class 12th//equivalent exam. But the candidates are required to have studied in regular, full time and formal education system.
Over 2 lakh candidates appear in VITEEE every year for admission to B.Tech programmes across its 4 campuses - Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati and Bhopal.

VITEEE does not reveal the cutoff marks as the exam is held in many sessions on different days and the level of the paper may vary slightly. So your actual score would be normalised according to the level of the paper, number of students appearing in that exam slot, etc
The cutoff is technically the last rank which could grab a seat in the given branch at the given campus. The Bhopal and Amaravati campus are relatively new so we cannot estimate the cutoff for them. Although you can find the cutoff for Vellore and Chennai campus on the given link:

The eligibility criteria of VITEEE are that the student should have been born on or after July 1,1998 and the student should have qualified 10+2 standard through CBSE, ICSE or any state board or the candidate should have attempted any pre-University examination or intermediate through recognized board or University.So,if you are a diploma holder from a recognized university and if you meet the age criteria,then you will be eligible for the exam.
