Vellore Institute of Technology has commenced the application process for admission in its five years B.Arch course. VIT School of Planning and Architecture offers students admissions into a unique five year study programme where the curriculum has been designed to solve real life challenges. The university has tied up with Curtin University, Australia for the B.Arch course. Candidates can apply for the admission process till June 12, 2019 in online mode. Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized institution with 60% aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with total 60% aggregate score in 10+2.
Candidate must have qualified NATA 2019 (National Aptitude Test in Architecture)
Candidate must be born after January 1, 1997
VIT B.Arch 2019 Application Form
VIT B.Arch application form is available online on the official website of Vellore Institute of Technology. The application process will be conducted in completely online mode. Given below is the detailed step by step process to apply for VIT B.Arch admissions 2019.
Log on to the new applicant portal and enter all the required details.
After entering all the details, verify your email id and phone number to proceed ahead with the application process.
Once a candidate has completed verification, they are required to fill in the detailed application form.
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rupees 1300 through Netbanking/Debit card/Credit card /Paytm mode.
After application fee payment, students need to upload their signature and photograph in the prescribed format.
The final step is to take a printout of the application form and enclose with copies of the following documents - Age proof certificate, XII Hall Ticket, XII Markstatement / XII website result copy, NATA score card, Community Certificate (For SC/ST candidates), Nativity Certificates (For candidates hailing from North Eastern States and Jammu & Kashmir).
Candidates are then required to send all the documents to Director-UG Admissions, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore – 632014, Tamil Nadu, India.

There will be no entrance test conducted for admission in 5 year B.Arch course at VIT.
The admission process will be conducted purely on merit base and candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their NATA scores.
Shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for counselling procedure.
Candidates will then be given admissions after going through Group Discussion / Personal Interview/ Skill Test.

the academic session generally starts from the first week of July .
most of the electrical branches start on 1st july
all mechanical branches, boomed, biotech and civil start on 3rd July.
all CS branches start on 6th of July.
and seniors normally arrive by the second or third week of July.
you can simply apply for admission withdrawal application to the director of college or hod of your department. however if you already paid the total first year fees there is no surety. the admission fees will be refunded by the college or not.

Yes of course, summer semester are ment for that purpose only. But you will have to pay extra for you accomodation and mess charges(around 10000), apart from that, it is 6000 per subject(approx).
I suggest you to not wait only for 1 subject in summer semester, instead you can take around 3 subjects, so wait untill 2nd year, maybe you get another N grade.

That means that you did not qualify that particular subject. Either you failed in any of the components of the subject such as Lab component (because your overall marks were less than 50 out of 100) or Theory component(because marks scored in Final Assessment Test were less than 40).
In such cases you will have to go for re-registering the course, by paying certain fees(around 6000 per subject) and then you will have to complete the failed component again.
