UPSEE 2017 Seat Allotment Announced

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced the result for the third round of UPSEE seat allotment 2017. To access the allotment status, the candidates will have to login using their application number and password. The seat allotment letter is also available for the selected candidates. The option of freeze, float and withdraw can be exercised by the candidates after the allotment of seat. There are five rounds of UPSEE 2017 seat allotment. The first and second round of seat allotment has been announced. The UPSEE 2017 seat allotment will be based on the choice of programme and college that is filled by the candidate, rank and availability of the seat. On allotment of seat, candidates must exercise the “freeze” or “float” option as applicable in the particular seat allotment round.  If the candidate fails to exercise any of these options, it will be automatically assumed as “withdrawn.” It is advisable that candidates fill maximum number of choices before they finally lock it.  Once they have locked the choices, they would not be able to make any changes.The selected candidates will have to report at the allotted institute within the stipulated time along with the provisional seat allotment letter that was issued by UPSEE.

UPSEE Seat Allotment

  • The candidates will have to enter their application number and password.

  • The allotment status of the candidate will be displayed online.

  • Selected candidates will also be able to download their provisional seat allotment letter.


Process for Admission

  • The selected candidates will have to exercise the three options of either, freeze, float or withdraw after the allotment of seat between July 16 and July 17, 2017

  • Once the candidates have accepted the seat allotted to them, they can download and print the provisional seat allotment letter.

  • The registration fee paid by the candidate will be adjusted at the time of UPSEE 2017 admission. Candidates belonging to the general and OBC category had to pay fee of Rs 20,000 while those belonging to SC and ST category had to pay Rs 12,000.

  • Candidates will have to choose the freeze option if they are satisfied with the seat allotted to them and do not wish to be considered for other rounds of counselling.

  • They can exercise the float option if they want to participate in other rounds after they have accepted the seat allotted to them in the first round.

  • Candidates can also opt for the withdraw option if they do not wish to participate in any of the subsequent rounds of seat allotment.
