Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) will conduct Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) 2018 on April 25 and 26. Candidates aspiring for admissions into undergraduate engineering programmes or technological degree programmes will have to appear in Group A exam. The paper of Physics and Chemistry of TJEE 2018 will be held from 11 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm respectively on April 25, while the paper for Mathematics will be conducted from 11 am to 1 pm on April 26, 2018. The board has also released the brochure of TJEE 2018 which carries all the information in detail about the related events of the state level engineering entrance test.
Apart from exam dates, other important dates related to application form and answer key have also been declared. According to the board, TJEE 2018 application form along with the prospectus will be available at Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE), Agartala and a few other institutes (click here to know the list of institutes for application availability) from January 2 onwards. The application form is however available now in downloadable format from December 20, 2017. Candidates can click here to download the application form of TJEE 2018. You can download and fill this downloadable application form, but can not submit it, as the submission and application fee can only be paid from January 2 onwards. This means that to submit the downloaded application form, you need to wait till January 2, 2018.
This downloaded, filled in application will only be accepted if the candidates pay Rs. 100 in cash and deposit the prescribed exam fee (check the table below) at any branch of State Bank of India and submit the proof of deposition of exam fee at the time of application submission along with the other necessary enclosures/documents.
To buy TJEE 2018 application form along with the prospectus from TBJEE and other listed institutes, candidates can opt postal order or can get it in person. To get it through postal request, the candidates have to send a Postal Order of Rs. 100 in favour of Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, payable at Agartala Head Post Office. All postal requests must be accompanied with a self-addressed envelope of 30 cm x 13 cm size and a postage stamp of Rs.5 affixed on it. Aspiring candidates can fill in the application form of TJEE 2018 and pay the fee in person till 5 pm on January 31, 2018 at the TBJEE. However, the application submission via post along with the fee payment and other enclosures can be done till February 7, 2018.
The examination fee can be paid in online and offline mode. In online mode, the candidates can pay the examination fee by using credit card/debit card/net banking, while the offline fee payment can be made in cash using e-challan.

TJEE application form 2018 can be bought/submitted at the counter of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination Old Secretariat Complex, Finance Building Agartala from January 2, 2018 to January 31, 2018 (11.30 am to 3.30 pm) on all working days. However, on January 31, the application form can be submitted till 5 pm.
Candidates must also note that the application form of TJEE 2018 can be submitted in person at the counter of TBJEE only till January 31, however, if the application form is sent to TBJEE via post along with all necessary enclosures, then it must reach the office of Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, Old Secretariat, Complex, Finance Building, 2nd Floor, Agartala, PIN-799001 on or before February 7, 2018. This means that the application submission date via post is different than the deadline for application submission in person.
After the examination is conducted on April 25 and 26, the examination board will release TJEE 2018 model/provisional answer key on April 27, 2018. Candidates can send their feedback on the answer key (in case of any discrepancy) till May 2, 2018. After the feedback deadline, the board will also release the final answer key of TJEE 2018.
Apart from these events, rest of the dates are yet to be announced by the examination board.
TJEE is conducted every year for admission to B.Tech programmes across the participating institutes. As per the official data, last year, as many as 3,080 candidates had taken the state level engineering entrance test for admissions to 490 B.Tech seats.
