Thinkcell Learning Solutions invites applications for Indian Engineering Olympiad 2018
Thinkcell Learning Solutions is inviting applications for Indian Engineering Olympiad (IEO), an engineering aptitude test for engineering students in their respective fields. IEO 2018 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 25, 2018. The registration for the aptitude test is open from November 29, 2017. Candidates who are willing to appear in the aptitude test will have to register before January 28, 2018, which is the deadline for registration. IEO is a 90 minutes exam which will test students in the second, third & final year of engineering on aptitude and technical knowledge in their respective streams. Students can register for IEO 2018 by filling an online form and paying a registration fees of Rs 100.

IEO Eligibility Criteria
In order to appear for the exam, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below:
Aspirants must be 2nd, 3rd & 4th year students pursuing engineering in any college across the country.
Graduate students are not eligible for the exam.

For 2018, Thinkcell Learning Solutions is expecting over 1,80,000 students to participate in the aptitude test from the best of the engineering colleges across the country.
In 2017, the second edition of IEO was conducted across more than 50 centers in India. According to the exam conducting body, more than 1,54,000 students registered for the exam from the 2nd, 3rd & 4th year of engineering across various streams.
About IEO Exam
Candidates can take IEO as per the following categories:
2nd year students
A common test for students across all streams (branches)
3rd year students
Separate test for students across CS/EE/EC/IN/ME/CH/CE streams
4th year students
Sseparate test for students across CS/EE/EC/IN/ME/CH/CE streams
IEO Exam Pattern:
The question paper of all categories will consist of 50 multiple choice questions across 2 sections. Candidates will be given 90 minutes to complete the question paper. Answers are to be marked in an OMR sheet. Students can download a mock paper along with key from the IEO website for their perusal.
What Will Candidates Get?
If a candidate clears the exam, he/she will be rewarded as per the he following criteria:
Toppers in each category will be rewarded with cash prize of Rs 15000
Top 3 students in each category with be given medals and certificate of excellence
Top 100 students in each category will be given merit certificates
Participation certificates will be given to all the students who appear for the exam
Award for College with best performance in each category
Best College of the Year award for college with best overall performance
