RITES Recruitment through GATE 2017 and 2016 - The application forms for the recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainees by RITES Ltd. are available from March 30 to April 19, 2017. RITES is recruiting engineers in the disciplines of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Signal & Telecommunications engineering. RITES Recruitment 2017 is on the basis of the GATE scores of 2016 and 2017. Candidates have to apply online and there is no application fee. Candidates must note that only one score - GATE 2017 or GATE 2016 will be considered for candidates who have valid scores for both the years. How to Apply for the RITES Recruitment through GATE 2017 and 2016
Step 1 - Registration: Candidates must register first and enter the following details:

After successful registration, a unique Registration No will be generated. Candidates have to safe keep it as it will be used as the Login ID. They will also receive the Registration No and Password in their email.
Step 2 - Filling in the Application Form: Candidates must enter their personal details, academic details and address details as asked in the application form of RITES Recruitment 2017. They may be required to upload a recent passport size photograph. After submission, they are required to take a printout of the application form. Theis will be required to be submitted during the time of interview.
Selection Procedure for RITES Recruitment through GATE 2017/2016
RITES Ltd does not have the MOU with IIT Roorkee hence the GATE scores entered by the applicants will be taken as the basis for shortlisting. Candidates will however be required to furnish their GATE score cards as proof during the interview.
GATE marks out of 100 will be considered for shortlisting
Only candidates who have qualified in GATE 2016 or 2017 will be eligible.
In case of candidates with valid GATE 2016 and GATE 2017 scores, only one of the two scores will be considered.
Shortlisted candidates will have to face a personal interview before selection.
- Candidates have the option to appear for interview either in Hindi or English
A Final merit list shall be prepared as per following weightage distribution

Training Period & Probation:
All selected candidates will be required to undergo training for a period of 2 months.
They will be absorbed as Assistant Manager and placed under probation for a period of 2 years.
Candidates will have to undergo a clearing test and must clear it to be confirmed at the end of the probation period.
Candidates who fail to qualify in the screening test will serve the company for an extended probation period and further action taken in accordance with the policy of the Company.
Pay Scale and Remuneration:
Candidates will start witha basic pay of Rs 20600/- and will be placed in the IDA pay scale of Rs.20600-46500 during the training period. Besides basic pay, they will be paid Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance
(HRA) during the training period.On successful completion of training and passing the examination, the candidates will be engaged as Assistant Manager in IDA pay – scale of Rs.20600-46500 on probation for a period of 2 years. Candidates will be paid Basic pay and DA, fixed/variable allowances as applicable in the scale, Performance Related Pay, HRA/Lease, Contribution to PF, Gratuity as per Gratuity Act inaddition to other benefits.
The approximate emoluments after confirmation as Assistant Manager shall be 10 lakhs per annum. The remuneration is due for revision as per the recommendations of 3rd Pay Revision Committee
Service bond:
All selected candidates will have to execute a service agreeent bond to complete the training as prescribed and serve RITES for a period of 3 years
Candidates have to execute a bond for Rs 1 lakh in case of Gen/ OBC candidates. SC/ST/Pwd candidates have to furnish a bond of Rs 50,000/-
Candidates who resign during the training period or within 3 years after completion of the training period will be required to deposit the said amount.

Proof of identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving Lisence, Aadhaar Card etc)
PAN Card
2 recent passport size colour photographs
Certificates of Academic & Professional qualifications and statements of marks of all the qualifications for all semesters/years (Class Xth, XIIth, Diploma/ Graduation/ Post-Graduation as applicable)
High School certificate for proof of Date of Birth
SC/ST/OBC Certificate if applicable.
Proof of different periods of experience if applicable
PWD Certificate as per latest format (if applicable)

Can I give gate after completing my bachelors of Science in Information Technology (3 years)

Hope you are doing great. A candidate who is enrolled in any undergraduate degree program's third or later year. Candidates who have already finished any degree programme in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, or the Arts that has been approved by the government are eligible to sit for the GATE 2022 exam.

Yes, you can definately take unacademy or byjus for your GATE 2024 preparation because these are the best platforms for preparation of the GATE.
But at Byjus and unacademy you have to pay for the Preparation kit but that is worth for that preparation.

I had passed out B.Tech in 2022 April with one active backlog. Am I allowed to write the GATE 2023?
Hello,
To be eligible to give GATE candidates must have passed graduation in engineering/technology or Master’s degree in any relevant science subject or Candidates in the pre-final or final year of their qualifying degree are also eligible to appear for GATE 2023. You have a backlog so you will not be eligible to give GATE until you clear that backlog. IIT Kanpur have released the GATE 2023 eligibility criteria in the official brochure. if i pursue btech in food technology will i be eligible to give gate in cse??
Eligibility criteria for writing gate exam is Candidates should have successfully completed your 4 year BE orbitech program or are currently pursuing your final year in the degree then you are eligible for GATE exam. There is no restriction for food technology students for participating in the GATE exam.
If you are pursuing your b.tech infotechnology after completing that you can definitely write GATE exam for CSE. B. Tech in Food Technology holder can give GATE exam in Life Science subject. 'GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. ' If you have Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then are eligible for GATE exam. GATE exam is for testing your technical skills. It doesn't matter which course you did your undergraduate program. If you are eligible as per the eligibility criteria mention about then you can write GATE examination.
