“The placement season has been very promising this year. It has been different from last year in terms of number of hirers and packages being offered. Aditi Amrendra Student Expert 9th Dec, 2019
Hello,

Both are literally on equal caliber in terms of placement. But if there a choice then i would suggest you to go for IIT kharagpur considering it has a little more reputation and it gives scholarship of some amount to students regardless of financial status.

Good Luck

Does ISRO recruits MTech CSE students through IITs?

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 20th Nov, 2019

IIST  offers Postgraduate Programmes like:

M.Tech in Soft Computing & Machine Learning

M.Tech in RF & Microwave Engineering

M.Tech in Geo informatics

M.Tech in Optical Engineering

M.Tech in Machine Learning & Computing

M.Tech in Solid State Technology

M.Tech in VLSI & Microsystems

M.Tech in Materials Science & Technology, etc.

Opportunities depend upon ISRO Placements conducted by centralised recruitment committee. But ISRO doesn't conduct campus Placements like other companies. And CSE students do not have much opportunities in ISRO. However, we would suggest you to keep visiting their official website for relevant opportunites.
