Online registrations for the counselling session of OJEE 2017 have commenced today i.e., June 14, 2017. JEE Main 2017 qualified engineering aspirants who wish to participate in the procedure for admissions into the institutes of Odisha will have to register themselves. Last date to fill the registration form is June 27, 2017. All admissions will be done based on the merit of the candidate along with his/her preference of college and course. Two rounds of temporary seat allotment will be conducted by admission committee which will then be followed by the final allotment. After each round of allotment, the candidates will have to make sure that they report at the OJEE Nodal Centres for verification of documents and payment of admission fees.

Whats New in OJEE Counselling 2017?
For the session of 2017, there is no process of re-registration and choice filling after each seat allotment round. The candidates will be allowed to fill their choices only once during registration.
In the previous years, the candidates had to pay a total of Rs. 5450 as registration fees (University fees + Registration fees). However, for this session, the candidates will have to pay only Rs. 450 in online mode during registration. The remaining Rs. 5000 will have to be paid after each seat allotment process is over along with the part admission fees of Rs. 20,000 i.e., a total of Rs. 25,000 will have to be paid during verification. The admission fees will be refundable.
Steps to Register for OJEE Counselling 2017
The candidates can follow the given steps to register for OJEE Counselling 2017:

The candidates will have to submit their JEE Main 2017 roll number and date of birth. A password will be generated which must be kept safe.
Next, the candidates will have to login and provide their personal and academic details.
Payment of application fees i.e., Rs. 450 has to be done through online mode.
Finally after payment of fees, the candidates will have to select their preferred colleges and courses and submit it. Locking of choices will be through One Time Password (OTP).
Admissions into the participating institutes of OJEE 2017 will be open to those candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2017 examination and also meet the other required eligibility criteria. Following registration, the candidates will be allotted seats. Two rounds of temporary allotment list will be published and the selected candidates will have to visit the Nodal Centres for verification of documents and payment of Rs. 25000 as admission fees. These candidates are not supposed to report to the allotted institute till the final allotment list is released. In case of withdrawal of ineligibility, the candidates will be refunded.
OJEE 2017 offers around 50,000 seats to suitable candidates in 109 colleges and institutes under the state of Odisha.
