The Council of Architecture has announced that the NATA 2018 application form will be available in online mode from April 16, 2018. Candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay Rs 1800 as application fee in online mode, while those who are SC or ST have to pay Rs 1500. Candidates who wish to take the exam in Dubai, they will have to pay Rs  1800+Rs 7000. The last date for filling the application form for NATA is March 2, 2018.

Steps to fill the NATA Application form 2018


The following steps need to be followed while filling the NATA 2018 application form:

The fee for the application form of NATA 2018 can be paid through State Bank Of India / Bill Desk payment gateway. According to their convenience candidates will be able to select the payment options. They can pay the fee either through debit card, credit card or net banking. Once the fee is paid, candidates will be redirected to the page which will show the status of the payment of application fee. After paying the NATA application form fee, candidates will be able to print the final confirmation page.

The Council of Architecture conducts the  National Aptitude Test in Architecture or NATA for admission to the bachelor of architecture course. The NATA exam is a three hour exam. Part A of the exam is conducted in online mode while Part B will take place in offline mode. In Part A, candidates will have to answer multiple choice questions from mathematics and general aptitude, while in Part B there will be two questions on drawing.

Yes. Both JEE MAINS PAPER 2 and NATA consist of non-verbal reasoning in the Aptitude section. The weightage for Aptitude in NATA is 80 marks whereas in JEE MAINS PAPER 2 around 50 questions are asked carrying 200 marks. These are important topics for Aptitude preparation-
Awareness of persons, places, Buildings, Materials.
  • Objects, Texture related to Architecture and build-environment
  • Visualizing three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawings.

see there is no age limit to appear in nata exam, the basic eligibility criteria is you need to score at least 50% marks in 10+2 course, also need to score 50% marks in physics chemistry and mathematics in aggregate. there is 5% marks relaxation for sc st, onc-ncl and pwd candidates,

so if you meet the above criteria you can surely apply.


is it necessary to KEAM if we write NATA?

Admission through KEAM B. Arch will be purely based on NATA score and qualifying exam only. Authorities will not conduct any separate entrance exam for KEAM B.Arch. To check the other information you can go through with the given below link.

Do physics and chemistry important for nata ?

Hello student as NATA is an entrance examination for admission in top colleges for B. Arch and B. Planning yes physics and chemistry are compulsory subjects as eligibility criteria says Candidates must pass class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized board.

Is eamcet isnt enough to get eligible for NATA and B.arch?

In order to get admission for a B.Arch course you need to write either the NATA  or the JEE Main exam.

The eligibility criteria for B.Arch is:

  • 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 50% marks along with the compulsory subject of mathematics.
  • Clearing NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) with the 80% marks conducted by Council of Architecture.
  • Clearing JEE Mains with required cut-offs.
