DTE Maharashtra has announced the provisional seat allotment of MHT CET 2017 for CAP Additional Round. All of those candidates who qualified the entrance examination of MHT CET 2017 and submitted their preferred options for admission will now be able to check their allotment status. Qualified candidates have been allotted seats by the admission committee on the basis of their rank in the previously released merit list and their selected options. A Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) has been followed by the MHT CET authorities to allot seats to the selected candidates. There were three rounds of MHT CET 2017 seat allotment held prior to CAP Additional Round.

Steps to Check MHT CET 2017 Seat Allotment?
The candidates can follow the given steps to check their seat allotment status:

The candidates will have to enter their application ID and date of birth.
Click on “Submit”
The allotment status of the candidate will be reflected on the screen.
The allotted candidates will have to download their provisional seat allotment letter.
What Follows after MHT CET 2017 Seat Allotment?
After checking the MHT CET 2017 seat allotment status, the candidates will have to download and print out their provisional seat allotment letter. The letter will consist of the information about the allotted institute and course of the candidate. The selected candidates will have to report to their nearest admission reporting centre to confirm their admission. At the admission reporting centre, the candidates will have to indicate their choice for the upcoming rounds of seat allotment. The candidates will be able to select their option from the following:
Freeze: Confirming the allotted seat and not participating in the subsequent rounds of counselling.
Slide: Participating in the next round of allotment for upgradation to a higher preferred course in the same institute.
Float: This option will allow the candidates to upgrade to a programme of higher preference at any institute under MHT CET 2017.
After freezing their allotted seat, the candidates will have to report at their allotted institute to pay the admission fees and confirm their allotment.
