Candidates seeking admission to Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC), College of Engineering, can submit the application form till May 7. The application is available in online mode only. Before filling the application from, candidates need to ensure that they meet the requisite eligibility, including that of qualification exam passed and minimum marks obtained; those who don’t meet the prescribed eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission. Admission to B.Tech courses at MEC will be conducted through two channels – one based on JEE Main 2018 scores and other on SAT scores. This also means there will be no separate entrance exam that will be conducted by the institute. Counselling for candidates who successfully fill the application form will be held tentatively on May 30 and June 1, 2018.

Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
Candidates opting for admission through JEE Main channel needs to have qualified the entrance exam or ranked in the top 2,20,000.
Admission to B.Tech programmes will be through two channels:
JEE Main 2018 rank: Only those candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam or is ranked in the top 2,20,000 will be considered for admission.
SAT Scores: The minimum acceptable SAT score is 1800, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
How to Apply
The application form will be available in online mode only. To apply, the candidate will have to get registered on the application portal using their email id and phone number, and personal details. To successfully fill the candidate also has to pay the application fee.
