Lok Sabha has passed Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) (Public-private Partnership) Bill, 2017 wherein 15 more IIITs have been granted the status of national importance. The bill has been passed with a view to develop new knowledge in Information Technology (IT) and to provide manpower of global standards for the IT. This move comes after the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given its approval for the introduction of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (Amendment) Bill, 2017 in Parliament in February this year. The bill may become an act or shall come into force once the Central Government notifies it in the Official Gazette.

The Union Cabinet in 2010 had approved setting up 20 IIITs under the Public Private Partnership (IIIT PPP). However, these institutes did not have the provision of providing formal degrees to the students at that time. So far, before getting the status of institutes of national importance, the IIITs used to run on Public Private Partnership wherein these institutes were set up, managed and provided financial assistance by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).

is there another chance to get admission in IIT without JEE Advance? I am pwd candidate

Naufal Mohamed 15th Dec, 2019
No, there is absolutely no way to get admission in an IIT without writing JEE advanced irrespective of your category.
But since you fall under the PWD category, the cutoff would be very less.
So firstly you will have to clear JEE mains and after that clear JEE advance to get into an IIT.

can I prepare for jee in one month

Burhan Khan 15th Dec, 2019

Dear Aspirant!

JEE is a national level entrance exam.

Only 10% of students appeared in exam manages to go for JEE Advanced.

It is clear that in order to crack JEE, aspirants requires rigorous efforts and study.

It is way difficult to prepare for JEE in one month.

But, surely you can also appear in April session of exam with more practice.

Undoubtedly, you can do many stuffs  in one month.

Clear your basic concepts and start solving basic questions.

Give special emphasize on chemistry. Chemistry can help you to boost your score, since questions asked in chemistry is relatively easier than the rest two sections.

Solve past year questions again and again.

Be confident & consistent.

All the best!

Hope this helps!

in neet and jee exam application.i did not specify the date of photography taken.whether i will become any problem

chandra keerthi pothina 15th Dec, 2019

Hey sakthi.

If you recieve any notification regarding the photograph you have to edit it. And the correction window for NEET will be open from JAnuary 15 to January 31, 2020 and you can edit anything during that time. If you do not receive anything you need not worry about it.

As for JEE, if you can download the admit card and did not receive any notificaion as well, it is fine, you need not worry about your photograph.

hope this helped

all the best

You can check the previous trends at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff and based on these trends, you can check what colleges you may get based on rank.
