Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the KCET application form 2018 for admission to B.Tech courses at government and private engineering colleges in Karnataka on February 1; last date to fill the KCET 2018 application form is February 26. The application fee, however, can be paid till April 28. The KCET 2018 application form is available in online mode only and can be filled by candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria of the entrance exam; those who don’t meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission even if they fill the KCET application form. The admit card of KCET will be available from April 10 onward. For filling the application form of KCET, candidates have to get registered using their valid email id and password. The application fee for applying for KCET exam is Rs. 650 for Karnataka candidates (Rs. 750 for outside state candidates).

To fill the KCET 2018 application form, candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Registration- The candidate will be able to register using a current email id and mobile number. During this stage, the candidate has to enter details like name of candidate and parents, DOB, gender, apart from entering and confirming a password. Upon successful registration, application number and user id will be generated.

  • Filling of KCET application form – Log-in to the application portal using application number and password to fill the form. The KCET 2018 application form will have sections related to personal, academic, and contact details.

  • Uploading of photograph and signature – Next the candidate has to enter scanned copies of photograph, signature and left thumb impression in the prescribed format.

  • Payment of application fee – The application fee is Rs.650 (Rs. 500 for SC/ST candidates) for candidates belonging to the state of Karnataka and Rs. 750 for outside candidates. The payment has to be made using e-bank challan.

  • Submission of application form – Check that all details are correct before submitting it. After submission, take printout of completed KCET application form on A-4 size paper.

Yes, a student studying 12th standard can appear for KCET 2020 without doubt. But you should neet te eligibility criteria like you should have minimum age to appear for the exam. You can write KCET 2020 if you are 2020 pass-out batch of 12th standard.

KCET is an offline exam. The application process is online. Cut off for every course varies depending upon how popular the course is. Please specify the course your interested in so you can get better information. I'm attaching a link below for you to have a look on the exam and various cut offs.

Hello Aspirant,

As per last year, minimum of 50 % marks in Practical examination is required to claim seat under Agriculturist Quota.

The agriculture practical test of KCET 2019 will be conducted on April 27 (tentative).

Candidates have to pay an application fee of 500 for General and OBC (INR 250 for SC, ST and Category -1 while document verification process.

KCET Agriculture Practical exam will be conducted at Bangalore, Bagalkot, Hassan, Bidar, Mandya, Dharwad, Raichur, Arabhavai (Gokak Tq), Mysore, Tamaka (Kolar District), Munirabad (Koppal District), Mangalore, and Shimoga.

Dear Karunakar, KCET is a Karnataka State level entrance examination. So it will be held within Karnataka. In 2019, KCET was held across 54 cities across Karnataka. This year as well, KCET will be held across 29 districts and 54 cities. There is no exam centre out of Karnataka and so you cannot appear for KCET in AP.
