KCET 2018 application form available now

KCET-application_newsKarnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the KCET application form 2018 for admission to B.Tech courses at government and private engineering colleges in Karnataka on February 1; last date to fill the KCET 2018 application form is February 26. The application fee, however, can be paid till April 28. The KCET 2018 application form is available in online mode only and can be filled by candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria of the entrance exam; those who don’t meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission even if they fill the KCET application form. The admit card of KCET will be available from April 10 onward. For filling the application form of KCET, candidates have to get registered using their valid email id and password. The application fee for applying for KCET exam is Rs. 650 for Karnataka candidates (Rs. 750 for outside state candidates).

Earlier the exam conducting body had announced that the KCET 2018 entrance exam will be conducted from April 18-19.

How to fill KCET 2018 Application form

 

To fill the KCET 2018 application form, candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Registration- The candidate will be able to register using a current email id and mobile number. During this stage, the candidate has to enter details like name of candidate and parents, DOB, gender, apart from entering and confirming a password. Upon successful registration, application number and user id will be generated.

  • Filling of KCET application form – Log-in to the application portal using application number and password to fill the form. The KCET 2018 application form will have sections related to personal, academic, and contact details.

  • Uploading of photograph and signature – Next the candidate has to enter scanned copies of photograph, signature and left thumb impression in the prescribed format.

  • Payment of application fee – The application fee is Rs.650 (Rs. 500 for SC/ST candidates) for candidates belonging to the state of Karnataka and Rs. 750 for outside candidates. The payment has to be made using e-bank challan.

  • Submission of application form – Check that all details are correct before submitting it. After submission, take printout of completed KCET application form on A-4 size paper.
