can i get cse in government college through jee mains 83 percentile rank is? 1.86lac CRLand my obc rank is 59k
There is no simple YES or NO at this rank, however, quite possibly you might get a NIT at 59,000 rank, contingent upon your home state and inclination of branch.
I would strongly recommend you to check the opening and closing ranks for various NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
MY SON GOT 96.19 PERCENTILE IN JEE MAIN AND ALL INDIA RANK IS 41459. WE ARE GENERAL CATEGORY WILL HE GET CHANCE IN NIT SURATKAL
First of all congratulations to your son who has got 96.19 percentile score in jee mains 2020.
Now as your son has got rank 41459 in jee mains 2020, then from general category getting a seat in nit surathkal will be difficult.
It may be possible that he can not get any seat in nit surathkal.
Here are the previous year (2019) cutoff for different branches for general category home state male candidate in nit surathakal :-
Chemical engineering - 17679
Civil engineering - 28144
Computer science engineering - 3561
Electronics and Communication Engineering - 6164
Mechanical Engineering - 14895
Metallurgical and Materials Engineering - 29465
Mining Engineering - 38716
Electrical and Electronics Engineering - 10031
Information Technology - 7280
So there is almost a negligible chance that he can get a seat in nit surathakal. Even getting a seat in mining engineering also has a very less or no chance for him.
But that doesn't means that he will not get any seat in a good reputed government college.
Try at hbti kanpur, because with this much general rank your son can easily get a good branch in hbti Kanpur.
