Candidates of JEE Main 2018 can fill the application form for the entrance exam from December 1, onwards. The JEE Main 2018 application form filling process will be completely online, and there would be no printed application form available. Before filling the application form, the candidates must ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria of JEE Main. Also, they are urged to go through the Information Brochure, which has a host of information pertaining to filling the JEE Main 2018 application form, including application fee and exam centre. It must be noted that submission of Aadhaar details like – Aadhaar number, DOB, and gender – is mandatory to fill the JEE Main application form 2018, except for candidates belonging to certain states. Last date to fill the application form of JEE Main 2018 is January 1. However, candidates can pay the application fee until January 2.

Candidates who successfully fill the application form can appear in the JEE Main 2018 entrance exam which will be conducted in offline mode on April 8 and online mode on April 15-16.

When making fee payment, the candidates must ensure that they are paying for the right category and gender.
The application fee of JEE Main 2018 can be paid in either credit/debit or e-challan only. For payment though e-challan, the challan has to be generated at the time of filling the online application. Using the challan, the candidate can make the payment in cash at Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank in cash.
It is mandatory to furnish Aadhaar details at the time of filling the JEE Main 2018 application form.
The candidate must furnish only authentic and verifiable data for filling the JEE Main application form 2018. Any discrepancy found in the data entered in the application form can lead to cancellation of candidature.
How to make JEE Main 2018 application process easier
Before filling the JEE Main 2018 application form, keep scanned copies of relevant documents like – photograph and signature, ready. Likewise, keep academic cerificates handy.
If application fee is paid in online mode (debit card or credit card), also keep card details ready.
To register for the entrance exam, the candidate will need a valid email ID and also mobile number. Post registration, all important information would be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
