lowering of vapour pressure of equimolar solution of glucose, sodium chloride and barium nitrate are in the order

prem meghani 7th Dec, 2019
Dear Aspirant,

Vant Hoff factor =i
For Barium nitrate,i=3,
2Ba+ No3-

For Nacl,i=2Na+ Cl-
i=2 vant Hoff factor

For glucose vant Hoff factor will be 1
I=1

So higher the vant Hoff factor higher will be the loweirng of vapour pressure.
So barium nitrate will have highest lowering in vapour pressure

Order will be barium nitrate>Nacl>glucose

Thanks
All the very best.

Is HC Verma is sufficient for physics in JEE ADVANCED . R.D sharma and M.L khanna for MATHMATICS in JEE ADVANCED.....

Avishek Dutta 6th Dec, 2019
HC Verma and ML Khanna are good books for JEE but arenit sufficient.
For physics
1.Buy NCERT for understanding the syllabus and studying the basics
2.Buy any one of this
i.Arihant ii.Cengage
Now I woukd prefer Cengage for JEE advanced as the book thoroughly follows jee advanced patterns.
And now study and solve them .
3.You can solve HC Verma or IRODOV if you want.
For Mathematics
1.Buy Cengages or Arihant books
Solve as much as you can from them
2.Tomato can be also a good book for solving.
Atlast solve the previous years JEE papers .

Which book is most important for physics , chemistry and mathematics for JEE ADVANCED... for 2021 exam.. From now onwards

Saurabh Siddharth 6th Dec, 2019

Following is the list of few books for better preparation of JEE ADVANCE:

  • Physics- DC PANDEY, HC VERMA, CENGAGE
  • CHE- CENGAGE, NCERT (has much importance for inorganic and organic)
  • MATHS- CENGAGE, AARIHANT

You can prefer any book from above.

Suggestions

  • Do NCERT as well for jee advance. It would help you much.

Do HC Verma alongwith anyone to the other two but atleast complete anyone book. HC Verma would help you to clear the basics and you find it easy to solve other books after going through it.
