JEE Advanced 2017 Admit Card has been released by IIT Madras in online mode. All registered candidates can now download the admit card by logging into the online registration portal and entering the required credentials. The admit card of JEE Advanced 2017, which is an important document that has to be produced to enter the exam hall, will not be dispatched through any other means. The original admit card will be provided to the JEE Advanced candidates at the examination venue.

Procedure to Access JEE Advanced Admit Card 2017

 

The admit card of JEE Advanced 2017 is now available in online mode. The candidates can follow the given steps to download the JEE Advanced Admit Card 2017:

 

Step 1 – The candidates will be required to enter their JEE Advanced 2017 registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address to access the admit card.

 

Step 2 – The admit card will be displayed on the screen. The candidates will have to check if all the provided information are correct or not. If any mistakes are found, the candidates should contact the Chairman, JEE Advanced of the respective zonal IIT.

 

Step 3 – After verifying the details, the candidates can download and print the admit card to produce it during the examination. 

 

The original admit card will be distributed at the examination venue after the verification process is completed. The candidates will have to keep the original admit card safe till the admission process is over. Those candidates, whose verification is in doubt may be permitted to attempt the examination solely on the discretion of the invigilator, who may allow it after completing formalities like thumb impression. It is to be noted that no extra time will be given to these candidates for these formalities.

 

Some exam day guidelines for the candidates:

  • Candidates must report to the exam venue earlier. For Paper I, they should reach the centre before 7:30 am and for Paper II at before 1 pm.

  • The admit card and a photo identity proof must be carried.

  • No electronic devices, log books, study material of any type, wallets, metallic objects and more will be allowed inside the examination hall.

  • The candidates will be allowed to take only their admit card, photo identity proof, simple watches, transparent black ball pens, pencils and small erasers.

  • The candidates will have to remain in the examination hall for the entire duration of the paper.

  • Biometric data of all candidates will be taken inside the examination hall.
