JCECE 2017 Dates Announced: Registrations to Start on April 3!
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has announced the important dates for the registration and examination of JCECE 2017. The applicants will be able to register themselves for the state level engineering entrance examination of Jharkhand from April 3, 2017. The mode of application will be both offline and online. Last date for the submission of the filled application form is April 24, 2017. The entrance examination of JCECE is scheduled to be held on May 7, 2017 and the expected date for the declaration of result is May 22, 2017.

To be eligible for the entrance examination, the applicants should be satisfying some certain criteria. Only those applicants who meet the following qualifications will be eligible and allowed to participate and later get allotted into the participating institutes:
The applicant must be a citizen of India.
The applicant must be a domicile of Jharkhand i.e., local/permanent resident of the state.
In the 12th standard qualifying examination, the applicants should have scored 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. SC/ST applicants should have secured 40%.

The application form of JCECE 2017 will be available in both online and offline mode. For the online mode, the applicants will have to register themselves to fill the application form. Personal, educational information and exam city preferences will have to be provided. Uploading of the photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression also has to be done. The online application form can be submitted after payment of fees. The offline application form will be available at the designated post offices and the applicants will have to fill and submit the form to JCECEB. JCECE 2017 provides admission to all eligible applicants into the participating engineering institutes. The applicants will have to secure the minimum required marks in the exam to be qualified for the counselling and seat allotment process. All admissions will be done on the basis of the merit and preference of seats of the applicant.

My obc category rank is 240 in jcece jee mains merit list. will I get a seat in government engineering colleges of Jharkhand and if yes then which one???
The rank scored by you is quite good and also as you have mentioned that you belong to OBC category which will be very helpful while securing admission but only on the basis of rank telling about the colleges is not that easy as there are many more factors applicable for securing admission such as field in which you are looking for admission and the cutoff criteria and many more but definitely you should try in government colleges and also some good private colleges as you have a positive sign of securing admission only the thing is proper research is required before any decision.
sir i mean. i want to study the bsc forestry under graduate course so for that jcece, is the entrance exam.for these exam andhra pradesh state students are eligible to write the exam. sir
Jharkhand Common Entrance Competitive Exam (JCECE)-It is the state level entrance exam to get admission in agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and other courses in the state of Jharkhand.For that,Candidates should be a local or permanent resident of Jharkhand state.Also c andidates have to produce the permanent or local resident certificate at the time of counselling.

Admission requirements for the program varies in different institutions.Many colleges accept students depending on their entrance exam performance and 10+2 results.

Can i use my ews certificate during jcece councelling through jee mains rank ,if i have not used that during filling jee mains form??
You cannot use now your EWS certificate because you haven't mentioned it before during the JEE mains registration so you will be counted as a General category candidate even in the counselling.
Can we give two state board jee exam?? For example WBJEE as well as JCECE
Yes, you can appear for two state board Join Entrance Examination (JEE). But if you comes under reservation category then the state which domicile you have you will get benefit in that state only for the other state you will be consider a general category. Since last two years JCECE Exam for Engineering Aspirants is not being conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council. Instead, a state merit list is prepared on basis of JEE Main Score for Top State Engineering Colleges in Jharkhand State like BIT Sindri, VBU, BACE, Ranchi University and RVCE Jamshedpur (Kolhan University).
However, a JEECE Exam for B.Tech/B.Sc. in Dairy/Agricultural Technology/Agriculture is still conducted by JCECEB Ranchi for Agricultural Courses in Universities like BAU Ranchi.
