GATE 2018 will be conducted by IIT Guwahati. The official website of GATE is now live on July 5 and IIT Guwahati has announced the GATE 2018 dates for all events along with the notification. The GATE exam dates are February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2018. The GATE application process will start on September 1 when candidates can register to fill the online application form. The last date to register and apply is October 5.GATE 2018 will be conducted in the online mode for 23 disciplines. The exact session wise exam schedule of GATE 2018 has not been announced by IIT Guwahati yet. Only candidates who successfully register and fill the application form of GATE 2018 will be able to download their GATE admit card from January 5, 2018 onwards. The GATE 2018 result will be announced on March 17. Candidates can refer to the GATE Important Dates 2018 for all details date schedule.

While applying for GATE 2018, it is important that candidates know whether they are eligible or not. They are advised to check the GATE Eligibility Criteria 2018 to know their eligibility and what documents are required to be submitted by them to prove the same. It must be noted that there is no age limitations for GATE and there is also no minimum pass percentage prescribed by the authorities to appear for the GATE 2018 exam.

GATE 2018 will be online with the application process through GOAPS – GATE Online Application Processing System. The entrance test is also online with a virtual calculator to aid the calculations. All the 23 papers will be online with each test for 100 marks. The duration of the GATE exam is 3 hours.
GATE marks are normalized to reflect as scores which are used for admission or recruitment purposes. GATE 2018 score will be valid for a period of three years for M.Tech admissions while the score may be used for PSU recruitment by many leading PSUs that will announce their recruitment through GATE.
