The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science has commenced its admissions for B.Tech 2017. All the engineering aspirants can fill the application form from now on. The admission is based on merit considering the entrance exam-Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science Engineering Entrance Examination (HITSEEE) marks, along with +2/HSC marks etc. as per university norms.To be eligible for admission, candidates are required to have a minimum average of 60% marks in Maths, Physics, & Chemistry in (10+2) or equivalent examination.The last date of HITSEEE Application form is April 22,2017.The entrance exam is in online mode and it will take place from April 30 to May 5,2017 for centres in Chennai and April 30 & May 1,2017 for other centres.
Candidates should check their eligibility with the eligibility criteria given by the institute and then take the admission process further.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Admissions:
Candidates are required to check their eligibility as per their eligibility criteria.The eligibility criteria for HITSEEE is given below:
1. Candidate should have scored minimum of 60% marks in Maths, Physics, & Chemistry in (10+2) or equivalent examination.
2. Candidates waiting for their higher secondary/+2 examination results are eligible for HITSEEE.
Application Form- B.Tech Admissions
While filling the application form for HITSEEE 2017, candidates should follow the instructions given below:
Make sure of a valid email ID which is in use for atleast one year from the date of application.Create a new email ID before applying online,in case you don’t have one.
Upload your recent photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature are in .jpg format and less than 50 KB in size.
The entrant should be an Indian resident and should have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years.
Maximum age to apply for admission should be 19 years as on 30th April 2017.

No, There is no Negative Marking for the HITSEEE Examination. On an average around 4000 to 5000 students take the HITSEEE exam every year and the candidates who secured a good rank also secures the scholarships from the Hindustan University. According to AME CET cut off students can choose the AME institute in DGCA, Govt. of India. After getting the marks up to AME CET cut off 2019, students can choose the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Institute which DGCA Approved. The AME CET cut off of 2018 is 110 marks out of 360. The candidates who scores more than 115 marks are able to choose the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer institute.
