GITAM University has declared the official result of GITAM GAT 2017. The candidates will now be able to check their secured scores and ranks online through the GITAM GAT 2017 Result. The result of GITAM GAT PGT 2017 has also been officially released for postgraduate admissions by the authorities. Both undergraduate and postgraduate candidates for admissions into GITAM University can now access their results to know if they have qualified for the GITAM GAT and GITAM GAT PGT counselling session or not.

Steps to Download GITAM GAT Result 2017
The candidates can download GITAM GAT Result 2017 and the GITAM GAT PGT Result 2017 by following the given steps:
Step 1 – The candidates will have to enter their GITAM GAT 2017 hall ticket number and date of birth to access the result.
Step 2 – The result will be displayed on the screen for the candidates after logging in.
Step 3 – The candidates are advised to download and print out the GITAM GAT 2017 result for future reference.
Method to Break the Tie in GITAM GAT Result 2017
If a situation arises where two or more candidates have secured the same ranks, then the tie will be broken by following the given order:
The candidates who have secured higher in Mathematics in the qualifying exam will be ranked higher.
If the candidates are still ranked the same, then those who have scored higher in Physics will be ranked higher followed by Chemistry.
Finally, the older candidates will be ranked higher than the younger candidates.
It is to be noted that only those candidates who have secured high ranks in the entrance test will be alloted seats under GITAM GAT 2017. All of the candidates will have to qualify the entrance test with the required marks. The counselling session will be held at 6 centres and will be providing admissions into the undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses offered by the University.
