The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will release the application form of GATE 2018 on September 1 in an online mode. Candidates will have to fill the GATE 2018 application form through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) 2017. The application fee for GATE 2018 can be paid through net banking, debit and credit card. The GATE Exam will be conducted in an online mode on February 3, 4, 2017 and February 10, 11, 2017.

What’s new in GATE 2018 application form
Candidates will not be required to upload the scanned image of their thumb impression.
GATE 2018 will be conducted in 199 cities in different parts of India as compared to last year when it was held in 196 cities
While selecting the GATE exam centre, candidates can select the first two from the same GATE zone, while the third one from other zone.
Before filling the GATE application form, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for GATE 2018. Indian and international students from Bangladesh, Nepal, Ethiopia, UAE, Sri Lanka can appear for the GATE 2018 exam.
