Candidates who have successfully filled the application form for the national level test will be able to dowload the GATE 2018 admit card from January 5. The GATE admit card 2018 will be available in online mode only, and candidates can downloaded it by logging in using their enrollment ID or registered email ID and password; candidates can use the link below to download the admit card. The admit card of GATE 2018 will carry details like the name of the candidate, roll number, time and date of the exam, and also exam centre details. Candidates must mandatorily bring the GATE admit card 2018 to the exam centre, as without it they will not allowed inside the exam hall. IIT Guwahati is the conducting body of GATE this year, which will be held on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2018.

Before downloading the GATE 2018 admit card, the candidate must ensure that the details mentioned on it are legible and correct; in case of any discrepancy, it should be brought to the notice of the competent authority immediately. The GATE 2018 score will be valid for a period of three years from the declaration of result, so candidate mustn’t lose it, as alongside GATE score card, the admit card has to be produced at time of M.Tech admission.

The step-wise process to download the admit card of GATE 2018 is given below:
Click on the admit card download link (will be updated here once it is available)
Log-in using following details – GATE enrollment ID or registered email ID and password. If there is a security code, that also has to be entered
On successful log-in, the GATE admit card 2018 will be displayed on screen.
Check that all the details mentioned on it are legible and correct
Download the admit card and take a printout.
Note: The GATE admit card will not be sent by email or post to the candidate.
Details mentioned on the GATE 2018 Admit Card - Apart from details like name, signature and photograph of the candidate, the GATE admit card will indicate the paper opted by the candidate, registration number, date and time of exam, and exam centre details.
Carry a Photo ID alongside the GATE 2018 admit card - The candidate must produce a photo ID proof like Passport, Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter card, or Driving License at the exam centre, alongside the admit card. Failure to do so may lead to the candidate being barred from sitting in the exam.
